Holy shit these comments, I didn't realise until now, but I think you people are actually delusional.
You saying the pessimists are delusional and you're a major fanboy or you saying the people praising the game delusional? Anyways, here's a review by TotalBiscuit. He hasn't done a full review on it because he simply "straight up" doesn't care about this game anymore, it seems like. Skip to minute 1 hour 37-38 minute, this sums up the majority of every player's feedback i've gathered since release. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkCXsndCohY&feature=youtu.be&t=5875 Personal conversations with friends summed up to: "This game is really not what we expected. Clunky new and untested engine, listening to the wrong player feedback (Table top doesn't translate to a good shooter, should've used it as inspiration and not a "How to- guide on balancing a 3rd person shooter game, mates), money going dry, tight deadlines, outsourcing production to cheaper sources (Reason why you read 'We got our models in' whenever you hear them talk about new putting new model content), etc."
Why is everyone putting so much emphasis on a review conducted by a person not themselves? Everyone who has the time to play games has the time to do their own research and make their own assessment on if they will enjoy it or not. Post that any person who has paid for this game and doesn't find it enjoyable can stop playing. Seriously the choice is there, it's that simple. Is this game what they originally promised? No it isn't. But why are people judging on what this game "could" have been? Why not focus on what the game is? And again, if you find that after doing your own review you don't enjoy the game as it is, you are free to stop playing at any time. It's just like movie reviews. So many reviews are out there for movies I love that reviewers shit on.... does that stop me from enjoying the movie?.....
I was going to link you to the steam review board but plenty of people have done that already. Everyone has their own opinion on things, it's just that the huge majority recently posting do not like it.
I played DS3 soon after launch... had no problems at all. In fact, one of the best non-ports made by Japan.
Ok here's my review on the game as it is. Eternal Crusade is shite. As for the rest of your post.... so you're saying people should buy a 50€ game to see if they like it themselves and then just stop playing if they don't like it instead of complaining and writing bad reviews to warn others?
Well then, where I live we have a popular saying that translated to english is something like "two weights, two measurements". To me its the case in here. Not seeing the ammount of bugs in dark souls 3 but seeing them everywhere in here.
Missing based on the original promisse made years ago? To me what matters is if the game is fun or not and to me its very fun.
