They've already done a preview of Alpha. They did some pre-alpha footage in November. It was rough, but looked extremely promising. If they're already ready to show Alpha footage after a vacation month and a month of work, then Behaviour is literally FLYING through development. It could be a credit to their skill as developers, or perhaps they're moving a bit too quickly... Then again, I think the footage would speak for itself really.
I could do with some first impressions from the alpha - these are good things. It's real feedback from an outside perspective which helps guide the developers. They are doing this no-barriers thing for a reason. Lets see where it goes. My 2 cents. I volunteer as alpha tester as well.
Yeah, I'm not skeptical of a view of the alpha footage at all, nor would I be against play testing it. I am skeptical of a formal "review" of a game that's barely even in the alpha stage of the game. Then again, its not like it's a super biased reviewer that needs oodles of money to push a game past its 7 rating.
I doubt there will be gameplay footage probably an article with new concept art or maybe screenshots. But hey it would be ok if I was proven wrong this time. HINT HINT HINT EDIT: IT IS GOOD TO BE WRONG! http://www.youtube.com/user/MMORPGcom?feature=watch Check the bottom of their page to see the Eternal Crusade Studio Visit under playlist uploaded six hours. THERE IS no guaranteed that it has gameplay and its a private video meaning only the the user can post links that are watchable. Why its been up for six hours and isn't view able yet is probably GWs fault AGAIN. Them Having their hand on every ones throat at all times but taking their sweet time moving at the speed of a dog dragging its ass across the rug just to say "yeah ok do it". But that's just my guess. Orrrrrrr the article isn't done yet and the video won't be viewable until the article is finished and uploaded to their site.
