The face when... the Devs announced that this was the end to their Q/A just as I posted the following: TYPICAL. Oh god, I forgot to ask something - which every roleplayer will kill us for if there isn't any light shed on it. Will there be text-bubbles popping by our characters, friend or foe when we write to or yell at one another? Whether it is battlecries or you know, ''Campfire roleplay'' as we await the next skirmish. Usually writing and roleplay doesn't translate well in a busy general chat, or exclusively to a chat bar in general for immersion or fluidity. ( It´s easier to recognise who said what and when - as it pops up by their character or heads. ( This is also what killed SWTOR for the roleplaying community, the people that usually are the last ones to leave the ship, sinking with it instead. )
i dont think missing this question was crucial. we might see different ways to see in game chat. for example..a tab for squad.. a tab for strike.. a tab for general. and maybe nearby with chat bubbles as you choose. I know for myself i prefer voice in all scenarios.
A lot of information there, most of it is small but it's all pretty relevant and what we want to hear about.
