Missing w40k weapons

  1. So I was wondering which weapons we are missing and the list is quite extensive.

    Now, I mainly play chaos or ork and I REALLY wish we had autoguns, lasguns, combi-plasma guns, supa shoota, twin-linked shoota and a slew of shotguns. So the question is, once this Workshop thing eventually goes live, which weapons do you guys look forward to getting first? Also @Oveur, what kind of weapons can we possibly expect to see added in the near future? :OrkMoon:

    After the burny Kannon that fire FUCKING napalm on us, we are soon going to see the Sicky Kannon (joking) that deal a full bar of poison on impact. It's going to give a pure distilled EC drink, containing awesomeness, sheer rage, hatred, call for nerf, and ass laughing off.

    Based on this response, we will be able to implement new weapons as long as they basically work like old weapons.
    So for instance creating a TL-shoota with TL-shoota stats and model wouldnt be a problem, as long as it resembles the original weapon closely enough to use the same framework and mechanics.
    A Shotgun could be tougher, you would have to find a way to build one with the current mechanics. For instance you may be able to use a burst-weapon with extremely high BpB but low rate of fire for a similar mechanic, so the burts properly mimics a flechette. Or mabye that wouldnt work, what do I know?
    Or the Fire Pike I have been thinking about: technically you would need to take a Fusion Gun and make it work like a Lascannon. Not quite sure yet, which one of them would be the better foundation to build on for the desired effect.

  10. New weapons would switch things up, shotguns would only be good at close range so maybe people would finally stop using heavy plasma weapons as if they were shotguns.
