Yes, and consider the fact that you had to pay nearly 80-90$ for those games. It's the P2W at its worst. Not to mention if you don't buy DLC, you're gonna miss a bunch of new maps and new gameplay elements, which are not that new anyway, they can be included in the full game but EA just doesn't want to. I think EA has gone completely downhill since BF2, at least with BF2 you can get actual DLC with completely new features, not just some additions like an AC130 gunship and a OP gun.

It quite literally cannot fail to negatively impact gameplay by definition. At its very core it is denying a group of players a certain playstyle while giving it to another group. This is never a good thing even if we don't go into the fact that it's only possible to balance such roles against each other on a 1v1 basis but not in the context of what they bring to the overall game experience. As long as even a single situation ever exists where the 2 man bike has the advantage, the people without it will be getting shafted.

And no, this is not anywhere near enough negativity. It's one thing to hold off on criticism of assets and systems that are far from being finished, but a completely different one to sit there and wait for a fundamental part of there monetization philosophy to hopefully turn out ok when all signs point to it being a massive trainwreck in the making that has already devastated the public's perception of this game (seriously I have yet to see even a single community react even remotely positively to this idea beyond a portion of the people around here, the hype meter on MMORPG.com has fallen by a whole point since this sidegrade business and the cash shop is the #1 complain about this game on most communities of the internet).

At this stage I have no choice but to wait for testing to begin but I have seen nothing that would even so much as try to indicate that the obvious elephant in the room will actually turn out to be a mere fly.

Now you all seem to regret asking the dev for that founder's program, don't you? Like you said, we can't do nothing but wait for a more detailed and clearer explanation from Miguel or the appearance of the items themselves, since all their answers were just not clear enough. I too found this entire sidegrade thing fishy, but it's Miguel's guarantee that I even keep my hope up.

I don't regret asking for the founder program. I regret not managing to mount a big enough outcry against a monetization scheme that has potential to absolutely murder this game. A monetization policy that would have come to pass regardless of founders seeing as having battlefield roles locked behind a paywall is not much better than having that paywall also locked behind an "early adopter wall".
As far as I see it I can only sit on this train and wait for it to run over that quite obviously broken rail while the conductor sits next to me with his hand on my shoulder and gently reassures me that the rail isn't broken but is rather made of an exciting new magic that will somehow fix all problems.

The question regarding the freaking bike must be on the next steam or I'm gonna turn to an Avatar of Khaine and wreck this entire forum

At this point I think we have to wait until we can use some of the weapons against each other, so we can find the "power variance" and more accurately label which ones might be P2W.

Having heard the dev team rage against P2W in any form, I trust they will be ready and willing to tweak whatever needs tweaking in the name of balance and gameplay.

And repeats that he is transparent with you about that thing ahead, and that he keenly listens to you, and that maybe it's been your idea to go this way.

It's no longer simply about the OPness and UPness of weapons anymore, the whole argument is about the missing gameplay elements that the non buyers (actually the store buyers, since we're all buyers if we have the game) will have to suffer if they don't put more money into the game.
