ANY vehicle can deploy into a spawn point? I don't know if that's really a good idea... a Baneblade (or even a Leman Russ) would be one tough spawn point to crack. Sure, IG isn't slated to be in until later, but we do have to keep the future in mind. When you consider how many different kinds of vehicles there are in 40k, making them ALL spawn points opens up too much possibility for OP combinations and marginalizes transports. I really think spawn-deploying should be restricted to the faction's most basic (ie cheapest) APC option. So Rhinos (but not Razorbacks) for SM/CSM, Trukks for Orks, Wave Serpent for Eldar, Chimera for IG, etc. I would also really like it if the devs took a look at Project Reality's FOB system, to see if they could get something like that to work in EC. A FOB would be a step up over a deployed APC because 1: you can repair the wreckage even if the FOB is melta'd by a suicide bomber (within a certain time limit), and 2: it may allow you to deploy additional defenses near it such as turrets. And lastly, with all these spawn point options we really don't need permanent, campable spawn points in every base. Just put one in the faction's Main Base (because you need *one* to get on the map in the first place), and then *maybe* an additional one in certain major fortresses to act as "check points" (ie secondary Main Bases).
The list of possible 5th factions is actually pretty short. 1. Tau 2. Necrons 3. Imperial Guard 4. Chaos Daemons 5. Dark Eldar 6. Inquisition Of those I would say that Inquisition is unlikely to be permitted by GW. So...it's a choice between the other five?
Armor Damage being showed visually yeaaah!, and answer 38 is repeated 2 times. I would go For Necrons
i'd never looked over 4chan before, but holy crap is that a useless place. you might as well go to randi.org and listen to sad old men agree with eachother.
The most important thing to take away from this is that the founders items won't have their stats visible initially so we're going to be stuck arguing about p2w for the foreseeable future.
Technically (according to 40k law) there is nothing stopping vehicles arriving on the surface from a ship. Ork can teleport, Eldar have webway gates, SM have thunderhawk transports and for Chaos there's actually nothing obvious I know of so some kind of demonic gateway perhaps. All of whihc will look SUPER awesome I'm sure
