Microtransactions in $60 games shouldn't exist because they intentionally hamper gameplay?

    Was David, in a post:

Following our philosophy of value, it is important for us to give to our founders more than just skins.

the linked reddit comment or w.e is an inaccurate generalization imo
  3. I still think simply allowing players to grind everything would be the best way to go for everyone.

If it's slow enough, semi competetiv players who play enough, will be able to buy the FOTM op weapon (I hope there wont be one) / can get enough variety to stay competetiv.

But the best part is that EC would loose the notion of P2W, which would bring in more players, which would bring in more money.

Edit: Btw, Miguel, you made the example with LoL, that Champions are like Sidegrades. But in LoL you can grind them.

    THATS THE WHOLE ARGUMENT.

    Wow.

This is what we're arguing, dude. We want free items, ie obtainable-in-game items, with identical stats. That is literally all we want. So that there is no pizza spitting, or pizza undercooking, or holding the crust behind a paywall. Just good old fashioned pizza, with salami cosmetics and hero unit soda on the side.

Right now, the devs are talking as though there's going to be purchase only items with no equivalents in game. An entire vehicle class that can only be accessed via purchase. Heroes with unique powers that only paying players will use. A whole premium side to the gameplay that you have to buy AGAIN after you purchase the game.

    And we don't like that.
