@Uriel1339 + @Casavay Alicia sighed when Wolfgang yelled, and while she pondered the question of Wolfgang having an idea about just how embarrassing it was to be called to from across the street, she looked both ways then crossed the street, being careful not to drop the box of all her models. Once safely across, and standing next to her friend, she said " Frankly Wolfy, I wouldn't be surprised if Percy was still asleep, but I've been too busy getting my models ready for the game today to actually check up on her." Keeping her crate of models in her hands she said to her Germanic friend "So, I guess you'd be Tauing it up, while I wait for everyone to just wear themselves out during the battle before my Dark Eldar end up sweeping them all off the board because they decided to fight among themselves." Alicia smirked at the thought of seeing her fellow players who took winning the battle seriously all weep because she came in at the right time to wipe them all out, and they had nothing left to stop her with.
@Maleth & @Casavay "Do whatever you like." He grinned back and gave her a pat on her shoulder. "I am just in for the pew pew. I do not really care about the winning conditions as long as I end up annoying enough with long-range plasma fire. Depending on the battlefield of today, perhaps I can for once even bunker up properly." Wolfgang kind of shrugged. "Too bad I ain't got any Barracudas though... Especially if Percy decides to bring a couple greater daemons or other very durable things, for some reason my Broadsides cannot hit squat, not even your paperweights you call Raiders." Sighing he scratched the back of his head, wondering where the heck his significant other is.
@Maleth @Uriel1339 Vulpas later on was looking around just waiting casually as he had his forces set up and kept his other aces in the bag. Pacing a bit around the store he spotted his friends across the way. Remembering wolf gangs enraging tau long ranged warfare. He decided to give them a wave as he saw his fellow comrades as he saw them.
@Maleth & @Uriel1339 Feldherr case at her side, Daemon-commander Percy ran as fast as she could, ran to get from the subway station to the store, to her friends and fellow gamers. She wasn't made for much physical exertion - or used to it - but somehow, she managed to keep moving, until, at last, Wolfgang and Alicia came into sight. Finally arriving, she extended an arm in greeting, and had to desperately find her breath again, hidden in some dark corner of her lungs. "M'here... Sorry... Busy... Work", she produced, hoping it would make some sense to them. But even more than that, she hoped that Zarakynel was still intact. That thing was fragile as rice crackers. "Look... Vulps... waving."
+ @Vulpas & @Maleth Wolfgang gave her a tight hug. "Just glad you are alright and safe!" He looked over to Vulpas and nodded. "Well let's get going then, we got dice to roll and miniatures to rock!" He gently took the carrying case from Percy, being the typical gentleman he was as well as not letting his tired girlfriend run around with that heavy case of her daemon legion.
Rico looked up from his phone to see the rest of the group outside walking around the corner towards the store. He thinks to himself Looks like the rest of us are almost here I might as well open the door. He got up from his set and put his phone back in his pocket and walked over to the door. He personally didn't really know these people those he knew were already getting ready for the battle. As he got to the door he leaned on the wall and waited for them to actually get to the door.
"Well, rolling dice and rocking minis is one way of putting it!" Alicia said, as she walked over to the store giving a little nod to Vulpas before stepping inside the practically sacred ground to those that played 40k, the game store. She found that Jim, the Major, the other Jim, Rico and Richard were already inside and getting set up for the free-for-all madness that was the game they would be playing today. As she opened the box of Dark Eldar, taking out each model with a reverential pride in their construction and painting she carefully set them up towards one of the quieter areas on the board. It was all just to make sure that they wouldn't end up in the crossfire between everyone else before they started their reign of terror on the tabletop.

By some twist of fate, the shooty Tau army got the first turn, the quick-strike Dark Eldar next followed by the ork hordes. Rico's Mixed Khornate army went next, followed by Major's Auxilia Guard. Finally, Vulpas' Imperial strikeforce went next, the pair of daemon armies went last. The first turn would go about as normal for a game as big as this. Advancing, a few long range casualties, getting into position... the next turn was when the fun really started. By the time that the orkish hordes finished their turns, a titanic battle was occurring between the two Gargants, one modeled after Gork, the other after Mork. It was as if an actual battle between the gods. The Transition As the game went on, the battle seemed to look more and more real. The models seemed to be moving, shooting, fighting as if they were real. Then reality seemed to warp around them, the gentle familiarity of the game store shimmering into something that looked like something they would have seen in their dreams... And suddenly, they found themselves in a wholly unfamiliar place, wearing unfamiliar yet familiar armour and unfamiliar yet familiar weapons... The Battle Somehow, each and every player found themselves away from their friends, and surrounded by gunshots, explosions, death, blood and gore, and various kinds of screaming. There would be little to no time to think as they realized they were surrounded by forces of their own army, fighting forces that look quite similar to their friend's armies... And to top it all off, there was a pair of Gargants towering in the sky, duking it out with one another... [Pick an infantry unit in your army that is not in the chain of command] [Up to 10 kills, take light wounds as you see appropriate]
Richard stood there watching as he assumed the form of an aspiring sorceror leading a unit of thousand sons, to his left he could see the gargants and the daemons charging the enemy. It took him a while to notice what was hapening but then he snapped out of it pointing at some charging orks "bring them down" as he comanded on reflex he saw his remaining 4 rubic marines open fire with their boltguns as two shooter shels impacted against his left arm blowing chunks from his armor he focused his mind and shot of a warp blast at the orks in the form of a fire ball. (Ooc 10 orks dead by boltguns and fire ball and damaged left arm)
"What the?! I didn't know a prototype of Eternal Crusade VR was going to be a dive like this!" The confused Taugang said to himself and looked around, just ducking under an incoming shot, having learned combat reflexes from Agents Temporalis. "Alright, time to kill some Daemon-scum, whoop whoop!" The XV-8 Stealth Battlesuit operator told himself and engaged stealth as well as jetpack, trying to sneak up in the midst of daemons on a special someone (@Casavay ), she would not know what hit her! Wolfgang kept his weapon in check, only going to strike once he had a clean shot on something, and so he left the bigger guys to the Crisis Suits, Hammerhead and Sky Ray while attempting to maneuver a way through this mess...
