  1. Maleth Maleth Subordinate

Nodding at Valla, Smoke, Sui and Seline, Arthoran firstly said to Seline, seeming touched about the concern about her being wounded due to being pale ( @The_Raven ) "I'm not wounded thank you very much, and the blood I'm in... Well, it came from other people who got in my way, not me. Being a Snow Fey means being naturally pale in coloration anyways."

Turning her attention to the perhaps bigger issue of who should lead, she paused for a moment. She didn't want to presume that she was going to get the leadership, given anyone else could want the job, but likewise.... Well, she didn't peg anyone to be the leader type, so she then said: (@BuriasDempsey , @Wata , @TuskatheDaemonKilla , @GobMaw_HellSmasha )
"Well, in that case then, would anyone like to take charge of us as group, or well... Would anyone object if I was to take charge, if nobody else wants to do that?"
  2. @Maleth
Taking a break from smoking his pipe and blowing the smoke in the air, Rorak turned to face the snow Fey that spoke up about having a new leader. The Dune Fey wasn't exactly keen on any others leading him, especially considering how incapable their previous leader. Rorak may have volunteered for a suicide mission, but it was clear that a majority of the others weren't looking for a way to die in glory. And now the majority of them were dead, and he wasn't.

    Funny how that worked out.

"Who says we need a leader?" The Dune Fey finally piped up, "last thing any of us need is another buffoon marching us to an ignoble end. We're all adults here, pretty sure we can look after ourselves."
  3. Wizbang didn't respond to the question as he blew smoke out of his nose. Of course he could actually hear them he wasn't deaf he just had other things to pay attention to. Like the stain on the wall across the room that seemed rather old, perhaps just a stain make by spilled ale. The old man couldn't be one hundred percent certain about its origins but he was however completely assured that it was mocking him. The stain was mocking him with its shear existence, by being there it simply insulted him. Becoming angered Wizbang began to raise this pistol in his hand and aimed towards stain.
  4. @Wata Valla breathed a sight of relief as she readied herself. "Still, probably better to seal those up and not have you get an infection or something." She said before taking a deep breath and using the healing breath of the white scale drakes to heal the man back up to fit shape instead of a bleeding mess.
@TuskatheDaemonKilla Meanwhile, while Seline spoke with the Snowfey, Smoke glanced over to the more quiet members of the merc group and saw that the old man was about to shoot....a stain. "Hey! Old man! What do you think you're doing?" the kobold asked him, rather alarmed at what is about to happen. Smoke might have not been apart of the greater civilization places for long, but even he knows something like that is probably going to get them all kicked out without hesitation.

The tavernkeep had been watching Wizbang very closely as the older man brandished his gun towards an old, stubborn stain. With a sigh he looked to the rest who had been talking about reforming as a mercenary band, and he spoke up. "Oy, you looking for work?" he called out, speaking to whoever looked his way. "Village been hit by raiders a few times. Take our young girls mostly, and we get tired of it. Never hit when there's some sort of army nearby, so they can't be too strong." he shrugged a little. "If you can kill them, I'm sure the people would reward you. And you save m' daughter, I'll allow you to stay here for a while. Grow yourselves before you can get your own base." he offered. Though he hoped they would decide and get out of here before that gunman would mess up his woodwork.
  6. Rorak's eyes widened for a brief second as the tavernkeeper mentioned a job for them. A job already? He was still licking his wounds from the last "job" that went awry. But upon hearing the details of the job, Rorak couldn't say no. "Where is this band of brigands hiding out at?"Rorak immediately answered, blowing out his ivory pipe and stuffing it into one of his pockets. He looked toward the remnants of the mercenary company, addressing them directly with a stern glare.

"Whether you lot decide to help or not doesn't concern me, but I'm going to kill these bandit sonsofbitches myself if I have to." He looked back toward the tavernkeeper, his expression much softer then before, "Your daughter, what's her name?"
  7. Wizbang was about to pull the trigger when the innkeeper spoke up about work, even his mind still understood the concept of pay and money. Something he rather enjoyed having on occasion so he could have his robes fixed and perhaps buy a new hat or pipe. Or the more likely option of him buying something completely pointless and or explosive out of impulse or him just trying to eat it. Either way he decided to not shoot that stain, for now and instead listened to what the other mercenaries were talking about as he took a few puffs on his pipe.
  8. Wata Wata Arkhona Vanguard

Sui felt a tickle as Valla breathed on him. He did a quick shrug and wiggle shaking the funny feeling off.
"Thanks, uh, whoever you are." Sui responded and looked at his newest scars, he didn't make them out from the old ones for a moment. @BuriasDempsey

Sui stood up and walked over to the tavernkeep once work was mentioned. Beating up scumbags was one of his favorite past times.
"If you have any left to kill after I get their hands on them, shortfuse." Sui said to Rorak and leaned against the counter, hearing the tavernkeep answer Rorak's questions. @GobMaw_HellSmasha
  9. @Wata "Valla, and its no problem" She said with a smile, laughing a little at the other drake's reaction. At least till the Bartender came up to them with the job and told them about his daughter being one of the taken girls, then the Drake she just healed and the Dunefey spoke up immediately. "I'll take this up, mostly to keep this place safe and get your daughter back." She offered since the dunefey already asked the relevant questions about this bandit group. Smoke took a breath of relief when the elderly guy stopped from shooting the stain when the Bartender started speaking to them. It looked like Valla already accepted going on this, so his own decision was made already. "Yea, sure, what she said." He said with a wave of his hand to the white drake before going to down the rest of his tankard. Maybe shooting some pinks will brighten his day.
  10. Seline didn't stand, what with the little kobold still in her lap and all, but watched silently s the exchange took place, this was workable, she thought, saving people and also getting to brutally kill others was always welcome.. the money helped slightly, but Seline wasn't really into material things, the killing was he big draw.
