Hello ya gits. Today I was wondering, what kind of trait we could get in melee to be a bit better than the other factions? I think is not right to say that damage should be better, neither speed. So how about giving us the ability to shoot more frequently in melee combat? With a shorter cooldown on the sluggas (with this I mean the sluggas as weapons, not the slugga boyz) to shoot when we kite the enemy or stun them? It´s really common for an ork to point blank shoot someone.
Lesser cooldowns betweeen choppa strikes, melee weapon durability. I'm feelin, that right now it's working like that on current public build - there is no enemy my slugga boy cannot deal with in 1v1 melee. No SM, CSM or eldar. Even if there is 2 melee enemies against me i still have high chances to kill them both and get away, my attack rate with ork club seems to be about 1.4-1.6 faster than my enemies, and it's durability also seems higher than SM/CSM cc weapons except power fist.
That´s because currently the animations are bugged, but actually we are not better at melee. Just as good as any other.
