In patch #17 if you opened up the World Map, on the left side of the screen you could choose Skirmish and... <insert other name here> where Skirmish meant you would be put in a random 20v20 map and the other option was the 30v30 map(s) [Fortress]. However with this new option there was a queue so it would sometimes take 10 minutes to join a match but the wait was definitely worth it when I could play the game with a stable FPS and not have to suffer through a horrible optimized map where defenders lose 99% of the time. Oh, let's not forget the new sleek loadout screen!
And I'm sure, as you are a game designer, you get all your product out on time, especially when you let your customers play them in ALPHA, which those builds are notorious for crashes, bugs, delays, technical issues, etc, etc. Your games must be awesome!
It's not a matter of "a shitty job." You signed on for Alpha, that means the game will sometimes be unstable. They're working through the weekend to fix this, so while you don't have to like it, I think we'd all prefer you were at least civil in expressing the outrage of your thwarted sense of entitlement.
Honestly, the only issue here is communication. For this patch especially, they gave us a number of narrow and specific release windows and failed to make basically all of them. So that's one part. And then they'd rarely update us, often leaving incorrect information up or stealth editing posts. And then we as a community put pressure on them because we were, and I'd say justifiably, frustrated about a major patch being pushed back by at least a week without much communication. Therefore this patch got rushed out. I know it feels like the team is going as slow as molasses, but that's okay. It's an alpha. Stuff comes up.
It is since you know beforehand noone will understand you and it will make things awkward. Using broken english is pretty much better than using GT judging on that bunch of letters you typed. Besides, whether it isn't g. translate or a really crappy one since "разрушаемость" is translated to destructability perfectly. And i referred not only to the comment but to that random russian-language video post at 1st page.
Problem is not in russian players (which don't want to learn english language because they doesn't use it in real life), or GT. People should not post angry messages with using GT or not, because game is working well. People should play the game, which was cost 40-150$. Everybody wait this patch. Patch was broken. This kind of failure will not allow. It's a shame. Do your job good or not do at all. My chair was completely burned yesturday. The giant hole right in the middle. I can't use it any more. Who will refund me it's cost?
No one will refund it if no one else caused it, if you are at fault that is on you, if it isn't it'll be attended to when it is possible by the responsible party, this is the same way with the game as of now. There are those who signed up to test it, those who signed up to support it, others just because they are looking for a good time and I assume you are the latter two of the three if you were not prepared/expecting for this situation, that is on you and it was your responsibility to judge accordingly. If you are not prepared for this to happen the take a break and return at a later date when it is complete product, decide it is not for you, or you can always change how you view and have fun with what is there. It's a shame that you fail to see the game as it is rather than what you wish it to be.
