I appreciate your optimism In regards to weapons, the ded shiny shootah is worth taking, along with a few of the mastercrafted ork melee weapons due to faster attacks. also worth mentioning is the ded shiny roket, which gets faster reload. the trouble is you want to jam yourself with upgrades and the extra 100lp ends up locking you out most of the time.
Afaik they devs allready work on making them worth the cost. For now... not really, apart from weapons that get cooldown-reductions or less heat per shot and such
Handy on Orks but trash on non melta weapons now imo although nice on knives and narths since they are cheaper than normal mastercrafts. They even killed the two of the 3 options a Warlock could take, croneblade now a non moddable old mastercraft and mastercraft being a worse croneblade... nice change devs...
What are you smoking? Yeah which ones have magically got a faster melee attack? As far as I've seen the only ones master crafted for melee that make sense are for knife tier weapons.
Ok, to settle this I tried out every mastercrafted melee weapon the orks have, and this is what I found out: They all suck just as much as the mundane versions, except for the slight difference in durability and durability-regen. No difference in attack speed or anything like that. I guess I got trolled. Whooo.
Some of the weapons are some of them are not. The mastercrafted las cannon has reduced charge rate compared to the regular making it very appealing. Since the Las Cannon is used as AV from a long distance and if anyone gets on you it results in death trading in 100 LP for it is definitely worth it until you get the unique version. majority of the weapons are simply wasting another 100lp from your already limited supply.
MC Melta type weapons are generally worth it because you can get more in before an overheat, so if you know how to pulse your weapon appropriately you can actually zap a transport in one drawn-out volley in half the time.
