Grukk looked about as he entered the ship that was affectionately known as "Credit". He's been on plenty of ships in the past, many of which weren't made to accomendate Krogan effectively. This ship-being originally of alliance make- didn't seem to be any different from that. The Old Krogan didn't see a point in getting friendly with a crew of people he would only know for a weeks time. He was just a mercenary to these men and women, and they were just there to get him toward his destination. That and they'd probably be more intimidated by his presence and any attempts on socializing would be under the pretense of him being a simple minded brute. Grukk audibly sighed as he walked over to the elevator, his destination being the engineering deck. Only to stop himself when the Salarian spoke up about getting to the engineering deck himself. Grukk turned to look at him for a moment before turning his attention back toward their Turian employer. "Yes, where to the ship's engines? Might as well make sure it doesn't explode before we get to our destination. I want a good look at it myself."
"Level 1, another Salarian down there, Hans, he'll let you know anything you want to know." Brius laughed at the Krogan's words, he knew Hans took pride in his work and the notion might irriate him. "Don't worry, Hans has kept this ship running for almost seven years now. But please feel free to explore the areas. As I said, Level 1." There were a few others around in the Armoury, four or five of random other crew members, all in a similar uniform of black with no other distinguishing features on them, they were fixing and modifying the weapons to make sure they were all within "Acceptable" levels of servitude. From the looks of it so far there was nothing but desks. None of them looked up from their work and carried on. A Human, easily in his mid forties with a short back and sides style haircut, dark brown with hints of grey appearing throughout as well, not working on weapons was further back than them checking out what appeared to me an M8-Avenger with other weapons on a desk in front of him. Upon further inspect this Human had a name tag upon his desk "Lt. Roul".
Aulpius took a quick look around, he was slightly impressed with the weapons available. He might even make a switch if he ever had the credits. He then walked to the middle aged human. "Brius said you have a simulator down here."
Tomas didn't look up from the rifle he was inspecting and left Aulpius hanging for about twenty seconds. "So, you must be one of the new recruits that Turian bastard got." Tomas looked up and saw that Aulpius was himself a Turian but made no show of regret or embarrassment of making such a statement. "Don't look much to me, sure the simulation will prove me right. Through this door, They say you'll be facing Geth so I'll put them into the simulation for you. Any weapon of choice you want? If we have it on the system I'll throw it in for you." Tomas put down the Avenger and began accessing his Omni-Tool inputting commands for the simulation.
"one M-98 Widow, one M-5 Phalanx, a stealth cloak, two flash grenades, and a combat knife. Think you can handle that human?" Aulpius said as he entered the door. His jet-black helmet still on.
"The widow, phalanx, cloak and grenades I can, no one ever saw the need to put a knife into a simulation so you'll have to work without it." Tomas grunted at the Turian's last comment and went back to the Avenger he was working on.
Sal picked a room big enough for him to fit, he didn't have many possessions but his guns. So he just glanced over the room and left for mess hall. Maybe someone was up for a game of cards or willing to trade stories to kill time.
