In the last patch, we can now show our devotion to the chaos gods to the whole galaxy. Not only the festering cultists of Nurgle plage Arkhona, but now even the devious followers of Slaanesh and Tzeentch have showed up. Ok let's cut it short! We have mark now at least some of them. You think this is the right representation of the chaos marks or you expected something different? And more importantly, what are your expectation on the other 2 missing chaos marks? What will the Khorne mark will do? And how about the undivided mark? Have you discovered some nice combo with the marks or you really just want to play as a cult warrior and put the same mark on every loadout? I think these are a very good rendition of the chaos marks, but I would have expected something different on the tzeentch mark talking about sorcerers =)
MoT in EC has nothing to do with MoT in TT (inv saves) in my opinion.MoS is better but that penalty is ridiculus. Also MoT doesnt make your sorcerors better at mind dakka,it just gives inc saves.
I like the fact we got marks. I don't really like that they are so one dimensional and simply stat based. They don't really do anything "unique" per mark. That's why I'm considering making a post here to try and get other opinions on them, and hopefully at some point, get the marks to actually do something more meaningful/flavorful than simply be stat boosters.
You mean something like this? I like the MoT, it gives advantage to drawing the fight out and harrying your enemy. I think it's a good analogue to the MoT in TT by letting you shrug off some heavier weapon's fire in a fight (but not enough to take a real beating).
That is part of the problem though,MoT in the TT (just like MoN) offers survivability.MoN does it through toughness MoT through inv saves.Currently it doesnt offer much ,coupled with the hp penalty its pretty much zero.
I don't know what to tell you. I like the MoT, and I think it makes sense with the TT. It's something I plan to run on most of my traitor marines. Guess we disagree.
Personally I think MoT holds the potential to be the most defensive, I usually use it on my ranged units. I like MoS on my melee builds.
