Mark of Khorne too weak?

I honestly didn't feel the effect of MoK when trying it out. The penalty of not being healed is too harsh when your only way to heal is to actually do damage. If you get tied on melee you wont be really getting any kind of damage in until you start winning the duel.

I do like the no "normal healing" restriction, but I think the life steal needs to be bumped significantly and maybe even get a damage increase to get a true feeling of a Khorne berzerker.
  2. Double the healing rate, get full hp from executions and you got it.

One area where it is actualy really strong is when paired with a heavy bolter. Since the HB does so much damage you get healed extremely quickly and that really doesn't seem ok or fit the mark. I would be all for it getting a melee heal buff and some sort of heal of executions. It doesn't really seem worth taking for melee right now.
    MacBeth likes this.

Used in on ground traitor with chainsword.
Not worth to take it. I still prefer Mark on Nurgle.

I've been making a go of it with traitor assault and a chainaxe. I'm sticking with it, but it really isn't worth it. I think the problem is that in order to get any benefit from it you have to either play ranged and thus minimize the amount of damage you take while increasing DPS and the reliability of landing hits, or constantly hide and run back to ammo boxes.

I get the intention, but in practice it's most effectively used in the opposite scenario of how it should be used.

I think doubling the melee lifesteal could help, with bonuses to executions. Maybe an increase to weapon tier or damage too or instead.

Also, the visual Khorne mark or other effects need to be way more obvious, just so the sorcerers dont waste their time trying to heal you. Give them a glowing red aura or something beyond the flicker on their shoulder.
  7. I think it should increase the speed and dmg for melee (the berserking aspect) but not increase the force.

keep the lifesteal (maybe nerf for ranged) for now as faster melee swings and more damage will translate to more healing (which depends on still hitting your target)

This would make MoK melee (the way it should be played) abit more fun in my opinion.

Now MoK totaly usless for all melee.
90% of fight is rolling and clashing. MoK recoup u'r self only if u lose 10% HP at start of fight and dominate in melee antill target die. But: if u ez kill enemy without LS, so, what a point?

Yeah, a big problem is that MoK does nothing in melee unless you are doing badly.
I'm pretty new, and having tried out a bunch of marks I felt that the MoK is much worse for close combat dudes than both Nurgle and especially Slaneesh.

It's pretty great on Havocs though! But it feels a bit backwards... Khorne should be more about the choppy than the shooty stuff.

obviously in melee from full health, yup.

Heavy in the back with my axe with dmg mod is ~40% of my HP.

I think its plain worse then MoS for melee, especially when you unlock life-leech. But its viable. MoK with Life-Leech might be too strong, but i was unlucky and after 20 10k boxes still dont have it, so cant tell for myself
