Maps/Gamemodes Improvement Feedback

    The gamemodes proposed all make a lot of sense and could be pretty fun, capture the servo skull seems a bit annoying though, never been a fan of capture the flag.

    A game mode I've always wanted to see is last team standing, one life only, preferably with any map that provides close quarters combat. Nothing like playing Stalingrad on Red Orchestra 2 with no lives left, that CQB combat is tense as hell as a result.

    Last Team Standing sounds like it would be a bit too short hence why we didn't implement it. Maybe with tickets it would work.

    Oh definitely if people play the way they do now, Last Team Standing would encourage a slower, more organized play style however. Pushing in together with minimal risk taking, every corner becomes an opportunity for death and players have to adjust for that, it's wonderfully tense when you only have one life.

    what about a small match? like a 5v5 match where two squads face off in a much smaller area. like the B point on Harkus.
  5. For Last Team Standing. Have it be in it takes two wins to consider it an actual win.

    Ask the devs to push the deployment zone of Blackbolt back to where it was when the seige mode was a thing.

    Place some trank traps so no vehicle can get across.

    Disable quad cannons and make the walls off limits. Defenders spawn on A and can only go forward.

    Both sides have 300 lives. First side to deplete the other wins. Trench warfare at its finest.

    If we are proposing our own game modes I would love to see a Infestation mode.

    One person starts off as the Patriarch Gene Stealer against 5-7 other people. Whenever a gene stealer makes a kill the victim switches sides and plays as a gene stealer until the entire other team is dead or time runs out.

    Ya I know that's not exactly how gene stealers work, but its for fun. Just pretend the corpse was used to feed a growing child or something.

    Too short to be it's own gamemode that would count on the map for example.
    Good proposition, would take a bit more programming and setting up on the development side of things but doable!

    That is very similar to our plan with Capture the Servo Skull but a lot of things there are good information, thanks!

    I would say it is not similar at all because of these points....
    • Balanced map for both teams (teams goals continuously flipping)
    • Goal is not to capture/destroy other teams flag/skull/etc.
    • No tickets just a timer
    • Supports any player count well (10-60+)
    • Excellent game-mode for multi-race battles
    • In-match reward system can be implemented to help balance
    • Teams should not and will not be able to attack each-others spawns/base
