Or maybe one company saw them getting so much founders and stuff and thought we need a crew like that and went offering them a job with more creativity and other stuff like that.
you know that a lot of people and wow fan still consider vanilla and BC the best versions of wow? the successive version of the game are considered a semplification and easy mode only for grab more people and money.
You know bro, I totally agree, I am one of those ppl who are vanilla babies, but the point i am making is even through WoW is a crap fest now, its still holding 5-6 million subs, and making Blizzard and Activation a nice profit.
After waiting for and watching Dark Millennium go down, space marine whither away due to poor server systems and the latest waves of "lets slap 40K on it" games with GW handing out licenses for their IP like an Arab prince stuffing notes into a stripper, I already had little faith that a 40K MMO would make it, but Miguel, Lumpkin and the others were the ones that got me excited about this, they are literally the reason I bought a founders pack when they came out, I believed that they had a passion for 40K akin to my own, after watching them time after time, I thought "I quite like these guys" I'll support them, but now they are gone/going, I don't know who is doing what because I'm not on the forums much, my time going into Uni instead as I wait patiently for Founders access. And I feel like I don't know who is running what, if they give two shits about 40K, if they are into tabletop wargames and if they will even stay real to the initial vision presented to me by the original team... I currently have little faith in this game, the list of past warhammer games has not been seen as overly positive with a few exceptions like DoW (and even that appears a dead franchise now). Will the new guys build on what ppl like Lumpkin have set up? Or will they do stuff in their own way?... Sure this may be "the norm" but it does not mean I have to like it or that it alleviates my ever growing concern, 2 years is a short time to work for a company...
ok i know that but.. hiw many level designer you know that have a deep knowledge of the war 40k universe to be capable of be a GM for a war 40k rpg?
I would agree, but remember, I love warhammer 40k, but as 15 yr 40k vet and 20 yr MMO vet, you need balance, or atleast, I would prefer a well designed and polished game with a semi deep Lore, then a very deep Lore but broken game. I am not saying just throw a 40k theme park on it, but i am saying give the new guys a chance.
What exactly is going on? Hes leaving of his own free will for another job? There must be things going on internally or something...I cant be alone in thinking that having so many members of the design team leaving of their own accord is bad. It cant be that his job was no longer needed/phased out. Its not like they're done with level design yet.
