Spoiler: Eyes of Sarcopha OOC The Vulture Prophet has only two eyes in her face (her normal ones), and these work normally. The ones strewn over her body kind of do what they want. @matt23 @PorOborosCain "It is fine, beloved brother." "In small increments, change can be good. So..." Sarcopha graciously took the Tzeentchian's hand, grinding her teeth a little as the cloth uncomfortably rubbed against her palm's eye. "Let us attempt cooperation. In this vacuum of rank, I am a seeress. Are you a seeker of knowledge as well, I ponder? You must be."
OOC: Keep it up guys, love that good stuff @PorOborosCain & @Casavay & @matt23 ~~ Lucida - Elysium Library ~~ @PorOborosCain The Rogue Trader kicked the thing. "Keep your pets in check. I had enough rats when I was the captain of a Dominator-class once!" She threatened no-one in particular, guessing it belonged to either the Seeress or the Scholar, both being warp-casters. ~~ Recover the Cargo - Side-Mission ~~ @Vulpas | @Grall_Stonefist | @Maleth | @DaKaptin | @Illfetus Half of the Soldier-Serfs fell. Many others climbed upon a container to gain higher ground or on top of their truck. Opening fire, still scattered, they did little harm to the Astartes but managed to score a las-shot into the chest of the Datasmith. A burning-hot shot into the right elbow of the Trenchcoat-man, Nobody. And scorch a horn of the wild Beastman. OOC: Feel free to finish it up together. The surprise will come tomorrow (I hope) so you can deal with that over/after thanksgiving so we can get to our first mission on saturday-sunday.
Elysium - Library @Uriel1339 | Knightmare quietly laughed at Lucida's reaction to the creature investigating her foot. "Let it be girl. If a ship doesn't have vermin aboard it isn't sailing with a proper crew."
Library The Vulture Prophet chuckled, bending down to inspect the small creature. "It is the little things that spread joy the easiest. Bugs, flies, mosquitoes, birds, bacteria, worms, snails, spiders, scorpions, tiny dogs, rodents, plague maggots and tiny trash lizards. Not to mention the little driplets of fuzzy happiness that are Nurglings. You ought to treat it with respect!"
With a hiss of pneumatics Ekaddons augmented legs shot from the ground towards one of the container roofs, mid-air Ekaddon brought his howling Eviscerator high in the air and at the same time, slamming down on the serf-packed container with the force of heavy astartes armour and massive muscles, Eviscerator slammed through three serfs. Ekaddon pulped another two with his mass and the container screamed as it bent inside, creating a vaguely u-shaped container....
Chest wounded by on of the foolish warriors lasguns, Raternle turned his wrath towards the human that shot him, firing his Arc pistol at his attacker, sweeping the weapon's discharge over every serf he could see as well to kill off as many of them as possible. Meanwhile the Datasmith's robot continued its killing spree among the enemies' ranks, slaying every single warrior that came close to it or that its targeting cogitators designated as a target, with inhuman efficiency.
Jericho "Jeri" Burnhorns The smash and grab had been going better than Jericho had expected. The pack he fought beside was skilled and better equipped then his previous. Compared to the weapons of light and sparks, the Beastman made due with powder projectiles and brute force. Cutting down what he though was a retreating serf, only to see something new to replace it. A massive figure in power armor approached the slaughter, weapon at the ready. Jeri's first guess the figure was the serf master of Iron Warrior Tribe. The rest of defenders had clambered onto the thick metal transport. Raining fire upon the raiders. Jericho recieved one such blast of las fire to one of his precious horns. While mostly still intact, The beastman's horn was blackened and smoked from the chipped point. The smell was awful, and deserved no mercy. Jericho simply snorted at Ekaddon, prefering the enemy he knew over the one he didn't. Pulling free a cheap frag grenade, more of a pipe-bomb but no less dangerous. "FIRE IN HOLE!" He roared, pulling the pin and throwing it high. The fuse was short, it would explode sooner than intended. Raining shrapnel upon the fromt section of the truck, yet leaving those closer to the back unharmed.
-Malrus Malrus laughed as he saw the Serfs retreat, Using his powers and a bit of his electric stave he shout electricity he had taken up from the other serfs and through it at the ones on top of the truck hoping on frying them alive and ending this so they could secure the cargo, "Still should have enough to power this thing, He looked over to the new astarte joining the frey someone from the ship likely from the gestures he made and by the way he fought the serfs. "Welcome aboard?" he said as he wen't forward.
~~ Lucida - Elysium Library ~~ @PorOborosCain | @Casavay | @Avenging-Angel "It is an unnatural being that got too close for my comfort. It can be glad I didn't rip it's head off and took a crap in it's throat." Lucida growled angry and fixed her robes before taking her leave out of the way-to-full-library. "Good Day." She said snappy and made for the bridge of the Elysium. ~~ Recover the Cargo - Side-Mission ~~ @Vulpas | @Grall_Stonefist | @Maleth | @DaKaptin | @Illfetus The last serfs fell of the combined war-effort of Astartes, Machine, Beastman and Humans. The group had gathered around their bounty and just as they would have time to plan out how to retrieve the cargo a loud rumble was heard and suddenly a machine sprang forth. It rose it's front hoofs and howled like a banshee before crushing it's hooves down and turning rapidly around to face the assembled group. It was a mechanical horse. But the Warp and Datasmith immediately would see it as so much more as they would recognize it as one of the few Daemon Engines that have been ever crafted. If this was the cargo, then they could forget controlling it now. It was either fight and destroy it, or run and make for safety on Elysium. OOC - Visual Aid:
Malrus- "Now this shall be a challenge! My allies this is likely a daemon engine from the looks of it, Capturing it if it is the cargo maybe a bit difficult." Malrus said as he began to go on the defensive, As he did he began to try to sense what kind of daemon it was looking for markings, While doing this he then tried to figure out the entity bound to the engine. He kept on the defensive as he made a plan to see if he could possibly restrain it or cause it to lose mobility if it could not be bargained with.
