    Tyranus lowered his hand, "What fog is this....of which you speak?....Something clouding your visions?"

    "Nothing you should worry about, beloved brother. Merely the perpetual motion of the future. It might be that I am guilty of lingering in the warm, cozy blanket of the present too much. Imagine a child pulling her covers over her eyes."

    She put her own, small hand on Tyranus'. "The fog can be banished, do not worry. It is merely that sometimes it's easy to see, and other times, I feel like the blind ordinary woman I am."

    @Casavay | Hearing the woman and her Astartes prattle on about visions and blindness Knightmare snorted beneath his helm.
    "You are always blind. My Primarch had visions and they drove him to destruction. He saw the outcomes of many events and that knowledge paralysed him, sent him mad. He told us of the War yet-to-come, told us that the Praetorian knew, and the War still happened, Curze imprisoned by his brother for speaking the truth. Visions are false. They will lead you astray, confuse you, and get you killed."

    The seeress simply nodded in response. "Yes. Trying to bring forth the result of a vision often ends in death. Trying to avoid a vision tends to end in death. And in the end, we all die. Glorious, isn't it? Divination is the ultimate truth of Papa being honest with us!"

    Emerging from his shadowed work, Calcifer having found the Nightlord and treachurous Trader a risky interaction. Content to observe their own progress. Calcifer did not trust her, nor did he care for the Nightlord. But at least he was a fellow peruser of hidden knowledge. Perhaps they could even be piers, once the Captain kills the scheming smugger. While it had been his charge to seek out the these Seven specific Sins, their actual reference was easy enough to discern. Those, the information of the crown was new.
    "Sin is the word Theology and the ignorant claim implies blasphemy against the gods. The Ecclesiarchy prefers the term Heresy to express this. While the term "sin" is far less broad in definition. Such terms have existed since humanity's dark past upon ancient Terra, before the God-Emperor ventured into the stars to reunite the scattered worlds of humanity. Supposedly, seven hold particular weight. How they came into being physical and related to this Crown of Mael is only truly known to the Weaver of Fate. May he leave us hints in the days to come."
    With a flick of the Scholar's wrist, the book held within the Rogue Trader hand flew to his own. 'Speaking of which. Has that book always been there?' He wondered in silent paranoia. Setting the book down for future study, he sniffs the air before gaging. Turning to see the servants of Nurgle enter his newly ordered domain. Calcifer's eyes flared in actual anger, as opposed to his previous annoyed expression.
    @Casavay @matt23
    "What business do servants of decay have in a place of progress and study? If you come here without ability or desire to contribute, or threaten this place's purpose, I would then ask you leave... unless you can answer some simple questions? What little do you know of Seven Deadly Sins?"
    While the Chaotic Scholar began another interrogation, an odd creature kept watch over Nightmare and the Rogue Trader. It was an exotic fauna, small and reptilian. A soft hissing sound could be heard, but to the naked eye nothing could be seen. It crawled on four limbs, dragging a curled tail. From it's front claws, a visible loose membrane ran along them all the way to the main body. Besides this, four slow blinking yellow eyes continued to watch from the shadows.

    OOC: I always liked the seven sins of Avarice(Greed), Lust, Gluttony, Hatred(Wrath), Vanity(Pride), Jealousy(Envy), and Indolence(Sloth). Some even say Despair/Sorrow is a sin.

  6. The bloodletting continued, huge arcs of spraying blood and oil flew through air. Evicerator howled and drank fuel tirelessly, and the huge toothed sword ate meat, blood, bones, plating and screws. In the fighting Ekaddon approached the main party that had earlier set off for this mission, acknowledging them all @Vulpas | @Grall_Stonefist | @Maleth | @DaKaptin a gesture to show them that Ekaddon is not an enemy to them.

    Softly stroking her most prized possession, the tome - a simple physician's tool in the right hands - that had led Sarcopha to become the one she was now, Amentium shook her head. One could observe the corners of her mouth sink softly, like flakes of leprous skin. Cadian violet eyes narrowing, the Vulture Prophet replied "Decay is a progression. Love is a progression. Despair is a progression. I do not understand your question. But such should be expected from someone who slaves for a goal, instead of the sheer sensation of slavery, of business. How does it feel to eternally walk in circles, only succeeding when chance has it so? Any favour you seem to hold is an illusion, while I can feel the love of my great Father whenever I channel His gifts!"

    The prophet was very much ready to grant this man the Rancid Visitations of her beloved father and little, happy cousins, but she kept her temper in check. Her papa appreciated temperance, and the Plaguebearers valued professionalism. Regardless of this, all of her eyes were set on him and her face was slowly drawing into a mild, but displeased frown.

    OOC: Yes, Acedia (sorrow) was a sin until it was revised some long time ago, and is one I like to use when I write fiction about them. Lust is actually the newest addition, I believe. Like with the Horsemen, pop culture has done a number on the Seven Deadly Sins.

    'Well well well, one with brain under all that rot.' The Tzeentian Scholar thought as he considered Sarcopha's words. Clearing his throat, but still refusing to uncover his nose, Calcifer continued.
    "I suppose to a disease ridden corpse would find movement of any sort tiring. While love, desair, and decay may bring you peace of mind, not all are so fortunate. The burning secretes of the universe do not come to those who stay and stagnate. Only those seekers who willingly take hold of such infernos, baring the pain with pride, can truly achieve knowledge. I prove this to my... benefactor, and in return my place within the great scheme is assured. Nothing else matters. Though you are correct, change is inevitable. While I will come to burn from both ends, at least I won't die quietly. Keep your coddling love and hiddering despair. All I neeed to keep going is the burning truths behind my past and answers to my vengeance against the ones who betrayed me! To that end, I continue my search for more knowledge. More boox..."
    It was then he noticed the large moldy tomb at the Plague Seer's side. This time, only his yellow iris flared in an unnatural twist. Like a predator catching the sent of fresh prey, in this case a book of dark knowldge just waiting to be uncovered. Straightening up and removing his blue hood, bleach white hair freed to fall as it would. A reformed plaster smile at the ready.
    "However, I could always use assistance in my research. The Captain is sure to call on my talents again, and I've determined the search though the lies is often complimented with company. Where are my manners?"
    He says with comedic effect before bowing formally. "Allow me to unring this bell, my name is Calcifer. In another life I was of noble birth so I must appologize for my upbringing's conditioning. I have seen the Truth of the Universe and behind the charade of the Imperium. Though you are correct, all titles are hollow and control as illusions. The Gods work in mysterious ways..."
    Exstending a gloved hand, tzeentchian runes were embroidered upon it. As one did when greeting a lady of court. Calcifer's eye only leaving Sacopha's (multitude of eyes?) to sneak glances at her guarded tomb.

    Tyranus' body slowly straightened up as he stepped forward, "It would seem your manors were forgotten long before....forgetting to reveal your name. I have grown tired of hearing your....insults towards Nurgle and the one he has blessed, Sarcopha....To mock a God of chaos and its followers in to invite wrath upon yourself....The only reason I am so moved as to stay my hand is out of respect for the captain....of this ship, Thanatos." Tyranus then moved in front of Sarcopha his leg now blocking the tomb she carried, "Wondering eyes should not be need by one....so enlightened as yourself. I am Tyranus, former member of the Death Guard....and follower of Nurgle. If it is knowledge you seek perhaps I can enlighten....your lungs with the knowledge that Nurgle shares to his followers."

    Calcifer stepped back from the Seer with the intervention of the Plague Marine. The Warp infused half astarte, half walking cesspool loomed over the mortal Scholar. Intimidated to say the very least, but not deterred.
    "I never once spoke mockery of the Plague God, simply that his ideals conflicted with my motives and stating fact about your... hygiene practices. I mean no disrespect to either of yourselves personally, in fact I would give you this secret knowledge without strings attached. This room has become my Sanctorum and its contents are Sanctum to me and by extension , this ship and it's Captain. As such I have taken the liberty of setting up a few surprises for those who would seek to cause this place harm."
    Pointing down, Calcifer draws attention to a large pentagram newly edged into the floor. A mix of straight edged lines and twisting symbols. Decorative, but for clearly darker intentions.
    "Besides this grand seal, there are four others. Upon the walls and the ceiling. I made this one most notable for this very reason. While the others have to do with security, defense, and escape. This one has only one purpose, to draw upon the warp. While I'm limited when it comes to spellcraft, here I can put up quite a fight. However, it does have a secondary effect... a chaotic chance of Change in intent. A fire ball could become a block of ice, a bloodthirster could be summoned in place of a nurgling, a minor lung infection could become... I don't know, an uncontrollable plague? While it has its risks, it does keep thing civil. Don't you agree? I mean you no harm Tyranus, It would be unfortunate for that to change."
    @Uriel1339 @Avenging-Angel
    Meanwhile.
    Seeker continued to look upon the other guests of the Library with mixed curiosity and ire. Since moving fom the bookshelves to the floor, Seeker crawled ever closer. Coming to the the Rogue Trader Lucida's boot. Poking it with sharp claws, as if asking;
    [What this this?]
    Like his master, Seeker was a curious creature. Bat-like forearms and protruding eyes, an odd mix but with it's uses. Would easily blend in, mobile, and able to fit into almost any nook or cranny. It's black scales took on more of the blue and brown of the floor, never really keeping one shade for very long.
