The lack of skill is present on every faction. you should check the amount of friendly fire there is playing as CSM....
You just notice it more in some than others.

Doesn't take much skill playing as Eldar for instance...so you get that comfy pillow where you don't feel the lack of player skill so much , as a good player will excel too much and compensates.

Right now, LSM are better organized and that's your advantage... pugs can't win against mot of the Guild war parties. As for asking for Uniqueness in LSM....i mean...that's a big LOL, LSM is supposed to be as it is....even withtin different chapters....there's not much differences Because Astartes.....make better use of what you got ...and play the objective. That's where usually lies the problem....too many star wannabes, and not many players playing objectives.

The main issue in this game right now....is that Power Armor, is not accurately developed.

Power armor, is supposed to be the Shiz....and in this game...it's as good as an orc's shirt....

Boyz are not supposed to have more hp than a marine....
Nor eldar are supposed to have the same as a marine....
This game's balance is still to come....the only match up i find closely balanced is SM vs CSM, also the factions that had more time fighting each other since alpha...

Fix the power armor to lore accurate....and you'll fix the game

    Very nice point, thanks brother.

    Well in short terms:
Chaos ( Autocannon, Cool visual customization, nice spells, aoe heal)
Eldar (FAST running speed, fast attack speed melee, Very superior vehicles with infinite roadkills, again spells, oneshot kills in melee, easy to play)
Orks (Fat as Nurgle's mother, Lot of HP, very hard in melee, Electra choppa and fire knife or what else they have just one shots, very fast attack speed of heavy attack, basically you can just spam it, waagh effect) - orks need more love too as SM, bot less HP.
Space Marines - most popular faction in w40k (nothing special except for the Emperor's faith, lot of unexpereinced players, PUGS, noobs and so on).

Maybe in some short description we can see that Most popular faction must be balanced against others very well or you'll get much negative reviews from pugs or random players who just want to be a Space Marine of the Hour?

The problem here is that majority of the w40k fans wants to be a Space Marine first of all.
This popularity created by the w40k books, lore, history where SM are heroes of the Humanity.

Right know playin SM in EC is like playing Imperial Guard who accidentialy found some steroids to pump his body and put himself in an old armor that cannot withstand three hits of an ork knuckle.

I realy hope that Dev's will change their minds and check the sales figures and negative reviews.
After all the most popular faction is the most important. It mustn't be the strongest, no. But it must be balanced. And get some cool customs, cool stuff, cool guns, cool swords etc. Nothing here yet. NOTHING.

So let's stick to the Faith Brother. Emperor Protects.

I just want to point out that this is total bullshit whether you intended to speak for your faction or not. LSMs will ALWAYS hate the Eldar because it's convenient for them to. Someone will perpetuate the idea of Eldar being OP until the game's death and likely beyond, just as someone from my faction will go through cycles of calling LSMs op and telling them to L2P.

Eldar were released in T poses, with 4 unfinished classes and no melee weapon above T2 for almost 5 months. Yes. FIVE MONTHS of getting shitcanned in every possible combination you can possibly imagine to the point where Orks came into the game, looked to the Eldar, and said, "we're sorry". To which we eventually surpassed them and had to offer our condelences because we actually know what's it's like.

I'm on my phone, but seriously you'll find very little sympathy from the LSMs over the long road it too Eldar to even come close to their current state. They even got their own Powerfist nerfed because they used it judiciously in the end when everyone knew Eldar melee was about to get better.

The LSM may be UP, might be dull and boring, but these are both fixable issues. They have been the basis of how the other factions have received balance from the devs since day 1, and now that the other races are about where they should be, they no longer need to keep the SMs in their Alpha state.

But seriously, somebody really needs to say something to these new players in SM PuGs. They have no idea what they're doing and nothing short of a tactical nuke is goingbto help them.

I think that the LSM need to get better class flexibility, as the faction that is supposedly ready for anything. Ground assault needs to be able to capture and jump assault needs to have meltabombs, like their chaos counterparts, at a minimum.

    Well, yes and no.

As someone who plays all four factions pretty much equally I found I had the easiest time leveling as Eldar. The amount of XP I was pulling per game was almost 2/3 times that of any other faction I was playing as a level 1. I found when I upgraded the DA a bit to Rank 3 I was vastly more deadly than a tac marine and faster to boot, meaning I could just run from melee (assuming they didn't get the jump on me.) When I play my Marine I find I spent a lot more time sighing and waiting to respawn.

Now that might be just cause I do better as Eldar. Hell I may be the best damned Eldar player in the game for all I know but I won't ever know for sure because - and this is the crux of my argument here - Eldar are just not fun to play against, and I find them by far the most tedious faction to play as. This is not just me too, my entire guild feels the same way whenever we play as LSM and come across Eldar - our voice comm server becomes groaning and complaining... and even if we win no one had fun. I have to steel myself for 15 minutes of swearing and complaining. This is not something we do just as LSM, this is something I see across all factions: No one likes fighting Eldar. Whether this is due to some power level disparity or simple play styles is besides the point and people simply just don't like fighting against 'em. (... Exactly how this same guild felt about fighting Vanu in PS2 actually come to think of it! XD)

Now you say you find Marines boring and tedious, that's fine. I find Eldar the blandest race in the entirety of 40K atm and I know I am in a vast, vast minority here. But this is why we have four factions I guess. Some people just click with the aesthetic style or personality of faction and they enjoy it. It's hard to complain about Ork's after all, right? But what about those who only really enjoy the image and feel of Marines? There is at least one in our Guild who basically plays this to play AS a marine and no matter how much you convince him otherwise, he's not interested in playing the others - that's not why he's here. Should he have his fun pulled away from him each time he goes up against Eldar?

You also can't use historical facts to explain away things right now. Saying that Eldar were broken for five months so deserve to be on top right now is absurd. And you can't deny something is wrong with Eldar at the moment. The devs have even said so in the last two live streams and on their twitter that they are aware Eldar need looking at.

For the record, and in my opinion - it's not that Eldar are OP. I honestly find Orks considerably more of a challenge to fight against at the moment (Not saw them after the health change mind!). For me, it's the simple fact Eldar are not FUN to play against, at least not for us lot~ And I think that's the problem, a lot of people are attributing something to being OP about them, when in actual fact, they're just plain frustrating to fight against.

In the latest patchnotes there is:
but i couldnt find such an item, and i have all advancement items. Is it there somewhere?
I even created another chapter marine (thought maybe grey hunters arent tacticals somehow)
  9. Lucius Vinicius JojoKasei Arkhona Vanguard

The item is in the upper slot to the right of the armor slot.

I personally hate playing against Orks more than Eldar. Eldar are hard to hit (and I don't really like to fight them either), but at least they die when you hit them. Once unloadad 25 Bolter rounds to an Ork's head and chest, he still charged me and killed me within a split second. Fighting Chaos is the most balanced way to go as LSm nowadays, and Chaos is not nicknamed "Space Marines with toys" for no reason. Go figure.
The problems to address at LSMs (and probably Chaos, too, for balancing and logical reasons):
Power Armor is apparently made of wood.
Bolter is not firing mass-reactive self-propelling high-explosive rounds, but rather old chewing gum.

SM/CSM got buffed yesterday and now the're still complaining? What a shame.
