Everybody who started playing EC before release knows how the loot system was placed. Desperately, frantic and completely out of time. When I am looking on some weapons skins (venerable are best example) I don`t know if I should cry or laugh.

This. It costs 100 LP more to equip a Master Crafted Bolter who's only bonus is a lower horizontal recoil down to something like .18 . or... You could just use a Standard Bolter and for 20LP you could equip an Extended Barrel that reduces horizontal reocil to zero, and also increases damage dropoff ranges. Yup...really hope they make the Master Crafted Bolter not redundant, especially for it's price...anyday now.
It should be named "trash-junk bolter". Why venerable dreadnoughts are so well decorated and maintained? Couse they are of special value to chapters. But smehow they couldn`t spare techmarines to even put paint on weapon...
Not just paint, but heck they couldn't even be bothered to clean the gun let alone wipe the crap off of it or fix damaged parts. Brand new recruits aren't even subjected to this. Really they should have called it something Shitstorm, because if you were issues one of these weapons it's because you screwed up and need to repent. If your lucky this thing won't jam or blow up in your hands.
I think thats why we don't see Techmarines in the field, they might be on strike trying to scrub off all the dirt of the Venerable cache of Boltguns from that Space Hulk we found on the way to Arkhona.
