Low Health / Close To Death , Blurr, Aim Recoil

    In eve you have atleast one more movement dimension, will EC consider eve like velocity, angular, gun size, target resolution, speed, in their dmg calculations?

    TF2 the bunny jump/2x jump seems like a nice idea, that game seems more small area based, with lots of turns, will we have that in EC or rather more open fields with 500ppl battling from two fronts clashing together? In Titanfall they included Le Parkour moves, eldars could have more of that. Some Parkour features already exists in EC, check for jump units, they kicks of walls or something to get higher.

    You bring up good points and ideas. So how do we tie this together to visual effects of getting hit and low health?

    Devs did say the factional campaign objections will be different and according to lore (somewhat), so ney, eldar gameplay most probably wont be like SM and Ork style gameplay.

    Campaign objectives =/= tactical objectives
    The campaign objective may be something like "Ensure the Space Marines do not take Y amount of territory" but the way the eldar wage the battles that will stop the SM will be largely the same because there are players in those battles not actual eldar.

  3. I think campaign objectives will be like, "capture the relic" or "Space marines get this base" or something like "WAGH, GET DEM GUNZ BOYZ"

    I would hope for something like, Devs dont reveal alot to us Eldar, but our campaign in Arkhona might be to prevent the other races from awakening some big necron thing or alike.
    Chaos ofcourse wants blood for the blood throne to spawn some demon.
    Orks are out for a good fight cus everyone else where going there?
    Space marines want to protect their territory, IG sent them or something, kill a xeno (tyranid) invasion from spreading?
    Anything less than ~this is stupid and not worthy of the license.

    I really like the friendly fire ranged&melee, im sure it will awesome/ prevent zerging/ more realistic fights.
    Also Steven Lumpkins suggestions in E3 about power generators defend/attack, to effect the bases electricity is just sweet, together with that fog/mist (if they get it to work) realistic and the cherry on the top of the game.

    Dual wield melee would be sweet, and dual range.

    You where in the last livestream (into the warp) with a Q right o_O I hope to make it to next one, live.

    On topic:
    From what you can see "Into the warp" the livestream episode 2-4, it seems like aim/recoil where included pretty well, but i miss the blurr, lower health effecting what you see.
  5. You nailed exactly what I was going to say. The Eldar take decades mastering their specific combat roles. To have this reflected in game play will be a great tribute to the diehard Eldar fans out there.

    The point about Ork blood frenzy and C/SM combat stims make me think we should make ranged weapons less accurate at low health, but give a slight bonus to movespeed and melee damage just to promote that 'f*** you' kamikaze attitude. Good clean fun for the whole family!

    That's actually from an EMP (nade or strike), you don't see it cause he cuts a lot but that isn't screen static from being shot at.

    That is only going to promote melee classes, which I don't think they want to do. Low health in a range battle is punishment enough, at least with melee you can block/parry to compensate but you can't do that with bullets (though they mentioned that H.Banshees may be able to go cyborg ninja and deflect bullets).

    They confirm that suppressing fire (the white) within clos proximity of you, 5-15 feet was it? Will cause some blur/ shaking for your visual/ sight + shackle your aim slightly. I havnt really seen it from within their gameplay tho from the livestreams.

    Metal gear soldier V: The Phantom pain, when you zoom in its furst blurry, resebmling reality, before it clears out and you see clearly.

    On deathcam, to prevent spying of any kind the camera could be from ground-> sky or the other way around.
