  4. Okay I just check my account because I didn't see anything about additional charges that someone (maybe OP) said. Nothing but a $250.00 transaction. I understand the skepticism about this company 'Stripe' but no one has said anything about them being compromised in the past or any information as to why this company should not be trusted.

And as to giving your address/phone number and what not it is more and more common now that when purchasing something online they request the correct information you have listed with your bank. So... it protects you more than just supplying a CC number, name and date. I bet you cash if you dont put in the correct information that the billing would not be successful.

    EDIT: some typos

When will it be put on steam for those of us who will never online bank?

probably after release...steam takes a portion of the profit, so from a business standpoint, it would be silly to add it to steam before all the ppl who were going to get the game anyway buy the game

My issue is that BE asked for my address, phone number, etc BEFORE telling me I had to register with a third party website. So basically I submitted all of my personal information, and then it tells me to go to Stripe to set up payment.

If it had explained BEFORE that I need to to go to Stripe, and explained that it's a trustworthy company and this is how they are temporarily processing payment - I would have been OK with it.

The way this company has handled it is incredibly shady, and reminds me of Darkfall Online and the original incarnation of Warhammer Online (by SEGA) and how they both suckered money out of people before folding up shop or "re launching". I've been around these games too long to trust anyone.

  8. You don't online bank yet you use Steam? Do you mail them a check or...? Obviously not paypal because that is still an option for this game.
  9. So BE is going to be selling your info? So the problem is with BE and not Stripe. Am seeing this incorrectly?
