Damiam- Medbay @PorOborosCain Before briefing "Good to see you there fair doctor, I am ready for my operation." he said as he came in his armor mostly on except from his missing arm, The pauldron was removed leaving it revealing the stump of what was missing. "I must say do you think the Replacement will reject me since I am from a differnt legion?" Damiam asked as he sat down and put the stump aside. Damiam- supply and demand Entered back into the Briefing Mortia entered around the same time with Rex who was now growing more hair it seemingly a mixture of brown and white. As Damiam listened the Briefing and looked at the missions available, He could see Critical points already Khogar had made. Turning the people agiasnt there leader he smiled liking two of the missions he saw. He put his Right hand to helmet. A idea had popped into his mind, It was time to give Mortia a challenge to see how much she had learned from him and the legion. "Khogar I would like go try to help turn the workers at the docks shops over to our side. Could I Request one of the apostles Go with me? If I where to have him at our side I think we could stage a revolution, While this is happening I Think if Solara her team manage to rally the slaves and mutants to there side they would have bodies ready with the need for weapons, If we can coordinate this right we might even get weapons in hand to these slave to help give us a edge in taking the queen out." Damiam said under his helmet oh how he so loved these types of missions. He then looked to Mortia "Mortia I think its time to see what you got with your words with people, I say I think this would be a good opportunity to see what you have learned from me." he said a odd chuckle came from him. "Also I had something done with your Spear it should help you when you get it." Damiam said. Mortia- Ready the people Mortia had entered the Briefing room with a black robe on, one from the Sorrita Cathedral that see had begun work on now replacing the symbols of the sorrita's order and any Imperial was the Mark of chaos since they were heading back into a area of the Maelstorm she thought it would be better to have this on then any disguises. near her shoulder was a emblem of a panther her hair and face where cleaned from the blood of the last battle that had occurred. As She listened to the briefing she knew where she was going to the sewers. Until Damiam Spoke and surprised her, Wait why had he wanted her to go there? she was better with animal then People. What was he testing her for now?, Then she had heard he had touched her spear wondering what he did with it she wanted to leave but restrained herself and looked at Damiam wondering what he was up to. "Alright then I'll be heading to help turn the slaves to take out the queen. any particular way we should go about this after we got them ready to fight for us?" She asked now looking at the holomap of new carthage. Rex was beside her looking at the talking going back and forth from everyone.
"I do not accept that as apology, nor as acknowledgment that you take the allegations, of seeing me as a slave, back." Solara clarified, putting one hand on the side of her waist, the other holding the staff that towered herself - looking almost comedical due to the size differences - even her hand barely wrapped around the shaft of it. "Nonetheless I shall perform to my utmost best." The Priestess of Slaanesh smiled and let her fingers slowly glide off the face of the Astartes, Simeon. A strong name, and he did not look too bad either. Not elegant or such, but mighty and he looked human enough, not twisted in daemonic ways or overly extremely marked by his god like Urtus had been. That insight made Solara realize that she was attracted to independent individuals, more than to bootlickers.
"Well, it's your choice to be offended, and it's your choice to forgive," answered Simeon, allowing himself to show some amusement in his smirk. He frankly enjoyed the friction, the little back-and-forth. If not a battle of wits, it was certainly a battle of egos. Nonetheless, she had proven that she had shed herself of the slave. She had faced an Astartes uncowed, and that bade well for her mission. No muttering slave could ever gather a horde to her side; that kind of feat required a strong charisma and a big ego. This one appeared to have both in excess. "I've got no doubt you will."
Breifing "Il go to the coloseum then" as the swordsman spoke he looked at the others in a quiet stance "i will take as many heads as i can while there"
"I am not going to crawl at your feet, if you hoped for that." Solara smiled, it appeared to be quite similar to friendly banter like among the PDF. Nova's advice truly had been useful so far, she would have to thank her later - perhaps have a bit girl-talk over a bottle of wine. "But I am glad that you are not a brute like some others around here and know how to have a... Fun conversation. How about when we both fulfilled our duty we talk some more, perhaps on less trivial matters? As far as I know, even Astartes have to not only nourish their bodies in physical training but also their mind." Solara winked.
Previously on Knives... Taken by suprise, the burning shrieks takes hold of the Blood Mage. Instead of cries of agony, loud harsh laughter filled the Chapel. Blood dripping from Knives ears and noes. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *gasp* "HAHAHahaha... *gasp* Well done Pinky. *cough* Well done. I... Urgh, knew you had it in you. *Cough*" The pain was no less intense, but it was a familiar pain. The kind of pain those like the Blood Mage lived in for most of his waking moments. Something a soft worlder would never understand. Slowly rising back to his feet, Knive's calls out to Solara as she storms out of the gore filled scene. "Nice trick, caught me off guard. That's twice! Maybe you are worth your skull. Congratulations on surviving your first lesson. Who knows, maybe one day you'll catch the Blood God's attention. Let's do this again real soon. Hahahahaha!" Knives cackles, loosing his balance and falling back to the floor. Continuing to laugh, not even attempting to take back control, deciding to let the pain over take him. Burning it to memory, until... 'Do you hear the voices too?' In the not too distant future, Present. Knives, Fire Starter The briefing found Knives in a good mood. Though his skull count was only above twenty five, he had reached his target goal. Each earned though direct combat, willing or otherwise. Fashioning a totem of sorts during his moments of blind fury over taking him. 'Note to self, beat enough things to death with a spinal cord and it turns into a instrument of Khorne's will. Neat!' Naturally there's alittle more to it than that, but let's move on. Knives listen to the new recruits continued insistance to have the Herald of Lord Khorgar reduced to trecking through sewers. Such a place was a poor fit for an astartes, let alone for a simple task. "Hello! You have a walking talking Bloodball riot just waiting to rush the field here. Give me five minutes and I'll have those dreggs and slaves howling for the Blood of the Metal Queen. No need to send a missile when a box of matches will do the trick, eh?" The Aspiring Sorcerer voiced loud enough for both the Scout and Solara to hear. A pointy grin across his scarred face. [edited]
The Astartes chuckled. It was a deep, rumbling sound. "Don't worry, I wasn't keeping my hopes up. Though, princess: I might just take you up on that offer," he said softly. He studied her face for a moment. "If I get an audience, of course." The jarring sound of the mad Blood Mage's cackling caused the scout to cringe, and he glanced sideways at the little man. He shook his head, and looked back to Solara. "It's a delicate job that needs doing," he said, only just loud enough for the Blood Mage to hear, but without actually addressing him. His eyes were still locked with Solara's. He was thankful that Astartes were gifted with the ability to shut off comparments of their brains to rest. He did not need to be distracted by those eyes. "So we'll see it done, and done properly. And then we'll talk." He adds the last in a lighter tone, once again showing the sorceress that confident smirk of his.
@DaKaptin & @Kalle "Consider yourself invited to my quarters." Solara smiled, just before Knives made quite some insane plans from the side. "It appears we talk about the two different goals here, Blood Mage. I am talking about the rally of all mutants and cultists, whereas it appears you talk about the Mechanicus shops. Clearly two different goals in two different sectors." She merely wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding. OOC: I am joining Mission IV - Power to the People for clarification. "All right," said Simeon. "Talk to you then, I've got to concentrate on my mission." He looked down to the helmet in his hands, and then lifted it up to replace it on his head. The red lenses lit up as it connected with his armor. OOC: I am joining Mission II - Supply and Demand.
