As always this project remains impressive. I'm not sure if it's my connection, but I felt like the animations for the people talking didn't line up very well. And the writing... Was more than likely done in different language before being translated back to english so I'm not holding my breath over the drama. As far as a visual work of art though, holy shit is it impressive.
Dude, it is just your opinion. Script can be written by Graham McNeill and shot on film by Paul Verhoeven. We need a big, solid film, not shitty 1 hour series. Dont post shit, seriosly.
I agree with Zhull. I'd much rather see seven or eight seasons of 40k. In fact, like GoT, this format lends itself very well to multiple viewpoints - a movie pretty much requires several "genesis stories" in order to be tied in together. There's at least 3 different timelines as well. There's 30k/Horus Heresy, M35 with Sebastian Thor the SoB and The Reign of Blood, and contemporary 40k. All of which heavily involve xenos and heretics. Imagine 3 seperate series for each timeline and then a 4th that ties them all together to explain where GW will never quite make it to, but we can imagine if we try.
We need a FULL film, with awesome scenerio, awesome graphics and big budget. And only then, when this film will raise wh40k popularity they should do TV series. Only then.
A w40k film would work great. IT would OBVIOUSLY be a closed story. Like for example, based on Rynn's World novel. Celebrations in the world, shows some space marine and imperium culture -> distress signal -> company sent to investigate is defeated by orks -> invasion of the world -> facing the invasion -> end of the movie with the relief force and capture of the airfield and arrival of the imperial titans. For a film any Space Marine battles novel would work. OR Eisenhorn Xenos too. A series would work too. For larger storylines, such as of course the Horus heresy. (first season -Horus Rising, False Gods-Galaxy in Flames and ends with Garro escaping the isstvan system. Second season - Flight of the Eisenstein, Mechanicum, Crimson Fist, Isstvan V, Thousand Sons and Burning of Prospero. Third season - Know no Fear, Fear to Tread, whole arch of Imperium secundus to Angels of Caliban and another plot with Scars, Path of Heaven, and ending with Praetorian of Dorn. Then to 4th season idk. This just my idea, and yeah i deliberately kept out some of the traitor focuses ) But about the Lord Inquistor... Prologue was PERFECT!!
Movie about Cadia and their great battles agains chaos dark crusades will be jsut great. In movie like this we can see Astartes, chaos, orks, eldars, epic battles and story.
