The obvious answer is the horus heresy.. words cant describe how amazing books 1-4 where. GRAHAM MCNEILL "FULGRIM" before Fulgrim, the primarch of the emperor's children turned to chaos he and Ferrus Manus, primarch of the iron hands had an incredible brotherhood and when Fulgrim betrays him by turning from the Emperor drama ensues "YOU ARE NOT MY BROTHER" "I ASK YOU TO HELP HORUS WITH ME BECAUSE I TRUST YOU BROTHER" "DIE TRAITOR" and at their final battle Fulgrim couldnt bring himself to kill Ferrus but the damned influence of Slaanesh made him kill his brother in the heat of the moment.. ashamed and traumatized with what he has done fulgrim ALLOWS A DEMON TO TAKE OVER HIS BODY TO END THE SUFFERING.. eternal damnation ensues
  2. Graham McNeill is overrated imo. ADB is the king of the BL.

I'll try to tear through that in the next day or two. I have a lot of video game playing and model painting to enjoy while I'm on break. They're all short novels so shouldn't be a big deal. I also need to read Fear to Tread.
  7. there is a specific order to them though isnt there?

    do that thing!

i started with horus rising first--but i really want to read them in order.

You need to read to about book 3 or 4, then you can skip around. I read up to Fulgrim then skipped to Legion. The first three books are chronological. The other ones skip around.
