Totally agree, Eldar pistols are very underwhelming right now. The Shuriken pistol would be balanced around that high dps with its large horizontal spread.

The smart slab slugga hits less than a regular one. The tracking takes forever to reset and you can manually aim a basic slab for better effect.

I generally don't cover unique weapons. As weapons that are not reliably obtainable I think their impact on the meta is much more limited. I also believe that uniques are exactly that, unique, and trying to categorize them with the more standard weapons isn't always objectively possible. A good example is the burning light lascannon, which functions like a normal lascannon, but it's capability is specifically anti-personal.

If you ever feel that a particular unique is overly powerful or underperforming you should definitely bring it up, but I think those discussions have less to do with the general mechanics of the weapon class and more to do with the special attributes of the specified.

Unique weapons have huge impact on the meta. Ace Dakka, Hunter's Mark, Vengeance SB, etc. If a person plays long enough, they get these weapons, regardless of rarity and randomness.

You get them from the same crates you get your usual pistols, playing the same awesome slots game, and those guns are "unique" only because it says that they are "unique". I mean, those guns are available to anyone, and only Barfa, if I remember correctly, is 30 000k.

That way you miss an entire sub-species of pistols - burst firing (Mercury and Barfa). Also, Sparky Slugga is just a Dakka Slugga with 110 pen, and One-shot is a weaker Rokkit Launcha with no AV and no windup, so... I'm not sure what are you talking about, to be honest. It's not like those guns perform a different function from other pistols, like FIRING MY LAZER cannon does. Or like, ahem, Grav pistol.

Another thing to note would be that there are actual people using Zip Slugga. I didn't realize it untill I got teamkilled by one, but they do exist. Nobody believes me, though.

We can argue this all day, but at the end of it I hold the trump of "I'm not adding them to my sheet right now." If you'd like to spreadsheet them and throw them on the thread, please do. I'm looking past what we have right now to the potential that there are a wide variety of uniques, where I might honestly not be able to keep up with all of them and their unique effects. When I list these numbers this is after testing them out, using them, stressing them. You'll note I clarify I want more feedback on the grav pistol, because I don't have experience with it.

If you get a unique, look at base, look at what you have, and try it out and see what you like. My inclusion or exclusion does not prevent you from making those decisions. If the Sparky Slugga is just a dakka slugga with 11o pen, why do you need me to add it to the list for you to know how it rates?

I don't actually need a sheet to make a decision, I've tested almost all of those guns myself. I just find big spread sheets sexually arousing and like to tell other people that hey should work harder.

Sparky slugga is the best pistol in the game, hands down. To ignore it in a discussion about pistols is folly. Yeah, it's just a dakka slugga with 110 pen, big deal. That's like saying the vengeance sb is just a storm bolter with 110 pen. It's true, but penetration is pretty much the most important stat on ranged weapons these days.
