1. is not acceptable, I do not want one guild holding all of the power. I do not want one name and one clan leader to hold the reigns and fill the player council with their LTs. It also consolidates Intelligence into one place. We need Information Security if we're going to going to come out in top. If it's all in one place it's very likely to have infiltrators who will slip through the cracks of an impersonal outfit. 2. Is fine, but that'll take agreement from the current guilds we have and the current issue of creating a United Eldar Fenderation is that we still have no idea who will play on the NA Servers who will play on Euro Servers, and who will play on Oceania servers. There will need to be 3 frameworks created.
Yeah, that's my concern as well. Even now some guilds might have dreams of grandeur, so they won't agree to just merge with a bigger guild. My first point is more idealistic. It can lead to greater results(large percentage of the entire faction is working together) but it can also lead to a disaster when people start disagreeing with the leadership(with that said, I think that even with the first option the ruling body should be composed of the leaders and high-ranking members of guilds that merged with our super guild). Second is more realistic, we are humans after all. The result will probably be a bit worse in terms of coordination, but it's a lot better than every guild being on its own.
Yes, with a bit more thinking I can agree that first option won't work in reality. Some guilds might not agree, but it's something that we won't know unless we try. As for servers, as far as I understand your community already has a EU branch and a NA branch, so our potential federation can be built around it. I'm not sure about Oceania, but I'm not even sure if Oceania will have its own server to begin with.
I personally am a free agent. My main will be Eldar, but compiling videos, I will be playing with some on the other clans listed as well.I just want there to a fun Eldar community. How that happens or who ones goes about it I am not sure. +1 for no guild drama.
I am not with any organization, so I'm not sure why you're under that impression. I serve the NA Eldar faction.
All I want is for Eldar to have organized guilds. Obviously, assuming global map doesn't mean much, having only 1-2 organized guilds will be enough to satisfy people who want to be a part of a coherent group. But if global map means a lot, then we need to combine as many Eldar as possible under organized leadership to stand a chance. Right now it doesn't look great. Don't forget that guilds like VM were active even before anyone could play, and I don't see this sort of activity among Eldar guilds.
You... Remind me not to put you in charge of Intel Philos. That is not something you say aloud on a non-secure channel.
Is there any actual Eldar Guilds alive? Or shall I start one to at least gather up some people? (I don't want a giant ass one...That gets too hectic, and too much drama...)
There's room for another, but there are already several as I mentioned before in the thread. Location matters however.
