My last video was centered around killing shield bros but I realize they are one of my least played classes so I am going to stream playing what my fellow CSM consider is an OP class to see how it goes. This threads probably going to be a tire fire, but it's easy to kill a mark of nurgle if you stab him in the back, doesn't dismiss how overpowered he was the patch previous. Likewise guys not knowing how to use their active shield doesn't discount their ability to absorb almost all damage(Albit a smaller hitbox that only covers the majority of mass.) from the left side of their body without consequence, nor the large amount of bolts they can take when raised that nearly negate a ranged class entirely. Making these videos, these twitch streams, or whatever doesn't solve the issue(Especially when they are reliant entirely on personal skill.) and indeed will likely only cause further, more violent divides.
The deed is done, it was fun lol. Minus being kited -_- eating my own medicine was super annoying. This stream isn't meant to provide definitive proof on anything other than for me to play the class publicly to learn how to better defeat them, understand their struggle from the shield bro POV and to mix it up. I mentioned this in other thread but I actually consider something officially OP when it is adopted by the masses, makes my KDR go through the rough, exceptionally so that is and ends up getting some official data or patch for it. The devs determine all of that, until then I am simply going to document my experience and learn how to play all classes to become a better player No tire fire here sir...good day! Fair enough actually, the forums have been so rife with balance discussions lately that the letters OP have started to trigger my PTSD. I shudder to think of what will happen during the first balance pass.
Yeah the forums are text based PVP I hope MoN don't get nerfed anymore, they feel pretty good right now. Hopefully the shield nerf works too and bug fixes for it where it blocks even when not up, etc. Lots of balancing to be done, mostly in epic proportions by the time they finally get all the classes and factions out. Funny thing is the struggle of Shield Bro vs MoN reminds me of the old days in Vanilla WoW of Paladin vs Shaman lol. This is why devs avoid individual classes and cookie cut everything for all factions haha!
There is a Worgen joke somewhere in there...giggity. ON TOPIC: Noticed today that shooting a shield bro in the foot with a multi-melta is actually pretty effective.
