  1. I wonder if they ever get a german voice actor fitting in for space marines....so far every 40k game in german the voice was so tremendously horrible and often with wrong translation that I have insta change it to english! When I heard the intro in DoW2 I didn't know if I should cry or laugh...
    If they manage to find someone with respectful voice and not sounding like a dumbass if give them that credit though.

    (Nothing to do with voice but even the books are 100% better in english than in german, but they are getting better in that. I even like the german translation for "Mon'Keigh", which is "Chem-Pan-Sey" even more)

    I had an idea.

    Since the bolter roads are so big, so are the cases. The sound of the cases falling to the ground could be different than a normal case, and sound more like a soda can sized brass case. How would that sound?

    Yes. Soon, I hope. We ran into some bugs and the fix totally messed up our mix. I am on it.

    My question regarding music is how much music will there be in regards to gameplay? I always like a little tune to play to, especially in pitched battles. Thundering drums, glorious trumpets, foreboding chorus.

    What can we look forward to in that regard during actual gameplay?

    Any chance we could get music inspired by Basil Poledouris?

    I'm just saying, when the gates blow open and guns start blazing, it should happen to something sounding like this.

    There will not be wall to wall music. But music will appear in important places.

    I hope you are referring to just the first 55 seconds with the drums and horns as once the violins come in I find that hard to think would be appropriate.

    Yeah, the part with the loud percussions and the blaring horns. Where it's all like "BUM bum bum BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNN DUN dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"

    I think that would work pretty good for a big battle

  10. It would certainly be cool if Chaos mutations effected voice modulation, like someone who goes heavily into Nurgle's path has a raspy, gurgling distortion, or Tzneetchians have a slight echo where it sounds like they are speaking with multiple voices. Stuff like that.
