bolter is fine, just wish the reload speed was a little bit quicker in general. other than that, i hardly use any other weapon..love the bolter..oh yes, more booming shooting sound would be nice

The bolter is just good now, i hope it will be no changes to that. Its just fine.

Agreed I actually really like the Bolter atm, it's the weapon I use about 90% of the time

Personally I'd give it the treatment that the HB got (minus the damage buff since Bolter is doing just fine in that dept). Give it a reduced recoil gain whenever you fire multiple shots in a burst but increase the spread on these shots. Reason being, the Stalker modification (and potentially different ammo) is what makes the Bolter long range, therefore the base Bolter should be inaccurate at all ranges by comparison, but currently the base Bolter can be used nearly as effectively as the Stalker but happens to have automatic fire selection.

While you're right, and the role of the Storm Bolter is supposed to be that of an SMG (sort of), the bolter out performs the Storm on all levels. Better range, better accuracy, better recoil CoF, etc. Not too sure if their damage is the same (seeing as how its just supposed to be two bolters together), but the Bolter usually wins because its RoF is pretty good and its deadly accurate.

Honestly the bolter really just needs a damage fall-off. Its dropping targets across the map and is basically better than the Raven Bolter (because you can use it close quarters AND at a huge range).

I'd love to see its recoil go up just the slightest amount. That way people have to burst fire more and won't be going full auto across the map.

Another thing you might want to mention is that how recoil is handled. Currently a lot of recoil in this game starts off at the center of where you're aiming, jumps up slightly, then jumps up some more, then peaks and goes side to side. Its VERY predictable making shooting too easy across the board. Its not randomized enough at all and I would love to see a balance pass come for all guns recoil/CoF bloom.

If you are referring to the skins in the rogue trader shop, those are purely cosmetic as far as I know, or are you stating this from a purely fluff perspective?
