Haven't seen a poll like this yet so I'll assume one hasn't been made yet. (if one has been made, link it and I'll delete this post) Tell us what faction you hate the most and why. I personally hate orks, the melee charge cheese reeks and it feels unavoidable once you clang or even defensive bash like intended. Would've said eldar but I'm starting to become accustomed to headshotting pidgeons for easy EXP
CSM isn't OP but they have some really OP melee with swords in general. So much I never see any of them use other types of melee weapons, further proving my point.
power swords on all factions rock full stop .. but are useless against tanks but hey we all got meltas (sorry orks ) other than that PF's are hit and kill or miss and kill anyway .. lol plus cost more AP than ps's so meh ps all the way for me
I voted LSM because 95% I seem to be matched up against them. I would LOVE to play against other factions more often. But generally it seems the only time I can play against a non-LSM faction, I have to play as LSM. (Nothing against LSM because I actually like playing as one. Storm Bolter for life, yo.)
10 bucks says everyone who voted Eldar was because of three things: 1. Eldar vehicles are nuts to kill, and roadkill too damn easy 2. Eldar power attacks still covering way too much ground 3. Fire dragon presets making every Eldar awesome at killing vehicles without sacrificing a loadout slot(not really a FD problem per say, just a Melta one imo).
The Chaos autocannon too, i don't consider particularly OP, it's a strong weapon though, sure. But the abaddons grace autocannon does seem OP. As for eldar, i find they are too strong in melee, i suppose for the banshee and striking scorpion it's ok, but i'd tone down the warlocks melee. Perhaps even improve some of their magic ability as compensation. And when you add that to their good fire power and general agility, it does still make them the most OP.
My problem against Eldar is because the game-play is repetitive. By that I mean, I can't really use a myriad of ways to play and weapons to use. I am restricted to playing in only a few ways. Always driving never parking. No power fist, only power swords. AOE guns. It's really that the Eldar have some easy OP-ness to them that restricts my play against them if I want to try to win.
Also, a group of skilled and well organised space marines will obviously do better vs the eldar. But if it's against a group of eldar players that are equally skilled and equally well organised, my money would be on the eldar as a betting man. I do think the plasma cannon needs to be nerfed a bit though.
