Then be certain that 90% of people in Founders (myself included) will hassle bE to no end if they find out some glaring issues of P2W within the store, so that the devs may correct those issues.
I know that, you know that but thats not what Behaviour wants to do. . What I'm saying is that their proposition of 'side-grade' is viable only if it is handled incredibly carefully. Sure its gonna make the ignorant people scream P2W! P2W! But if this 'P2W' effect doesn't translate to the game itself and doesn't result in over powered characters then...its ok!
if the gameplay advantage is insignicant why adding it? why take the risk of add someting imbalanced? (and 1.8 TTK vs 2 TTK is an HUGE advatange)
How adoreable...another one of these threads...*sigh* Well it seams we will see them until we get some information on the weapons. But i will say what i always say. So in the cashshop there is a Bolter with +5 Damage and -5 Speed. Oh boy...thats so powerfull... and there is no way other non-paying players can achieve that... i wish ingame there were something like mods that could alter some stats on the weapon... oh wait...there is so the Cashshop Player can still be killed, pay a non paying Plaer, because the other modded their weapon to reach -5 Damage / +5 Speed. And while you miss some shots he can land more.
I'll repost my contribution from page 7 my main-point being player-identity and immersive, emphasising gameplay.
I think you guys are making a big deal out of nothing really. Lets say we do get a cqc bolter rifle. Its not going to be the only cqc rifle in the game. I hope we get a 2 seater attack bike, that would be totally bad ass to have something so unique in the game. I am looking forward to getting unique weapons and vehicles with my founders package.
Not trying to be a fan boy here, in fact i speak out quite often to the contrary on certain topics. But I will say the creator of this thread is getting quite ahead of himself and is making huge assumptions about the game that hasn't even entered closed beta. The P2W argument and in game store items can be altered and balanced a lot quicker, than say addressing the worrisome issue of Campaigns only lasting a week.
