I'm not sure about normal classes, but I sure hope that at least Heroes will be different by faction. For example, I'd like to see Gal Vorbak to be an Elite unit for the Word Bearers, or Justaerin for Black Legion.
Ironically, until like half an hour ago, I did not know that the Gal Vorbak were wiped out. I still differentiate them from ordinary Possessed though, since it's said they have control over their bodies and to an extent, minds, while fluff is muddy on the run-of-the-mill-daemonic vessels. At least allow this term as an example. And no, I did not mean Possessed and Bringers of Despair. Mainly because the Possessed are not WB-exclusive, and the term Justaerin didn't just vanish from the fluff. Actually, I haven't even heard of that term before the Black Legion supplement and the EC forums, unlike 'Justaerin'. Simply regard it as a force of habit, especially considering that I find 'Bringers of Despair' sounds incredibly lame compared to their old name. TL;DR: I know fluff. Had I meant 'Possessed' or 'Bringers of Despair', I would've used it. EDIT: Just wanted to add, this sounds a bit catty, please don't take this the wrong way. No bad vibes intended here
as you said yourself the Gal vorbak are wiped out so they cant be used and Justaerin reminds 2 much of Luna wolves/sons of horus and the BL leader doesnt like to be reminded of those i think...(but yes bringers of despair is alame name it would have been so much better if the lore allowed us to call them justaerin..) Edit_ what about Vakrah Jal for unique possesed to the word bearers?
