I actually love the Word Bearers while not being a big fan of their Primarch. I'm just also not exactly huge on playing Astartes, though 30k is a pretty keen setting! (I also only just saw that I was tagged.)
I'm an Eliphas the Inheritor-fanboy. Besides, I like the themes. I like characters with an ideological root.
That, plus their general efficiency and loyalty towards each other. I'm not a big fan of insane backstabbing Chaos...
i found eliphas kinda... actually pretty stupid, though by far one of the more comptetent chaos villans from DOW. And i just dislike them in general, and they are not loyal to each other much in anyway, just faultily loyal to anything Lorgar says. like even pre first heretic they where kinda backstabby.
The real question here is would we as a group turn to chaos because he did say we have a choice which makes things very interesting
But do we even have to turn to Chaos at all, Is there a possibility of going renegade and creating our own Renegade group?
Yah guys, stuff will be pretty much open for you although just to make clear, if you chose for instance Luna Wolves Horus will get stabbed and go evil as well as the majority of your Legion, however you can chose for yourselves on what to do, only the general history will remain unchanged I'm cool with even few of you going chaos and others staying loyal, anything you want although in that case expect PVP action In the example up there it's not that hard to pull it out, nor is in the examples of other Legions, because you know that most of the legions culled their ranks during\before the happenings at Istvaan, so we'll be able to make everything happen. As for going renegades, I guess Alpha Legion is basically that now, or at least parts of it. So yeah, it can happen as well. Don't worry bout boundaries of the end game here, just play as you feel like is right and I guarantee that will lead us somewhere awesome
I have to say Emperor's Children. I have very little knowledge on all of those legions really... But they are the only ones who can still win and that I know SOMETHING about... Plus, Slaanesh.... And BILE!
I am an avid 30k fan of the Tsons and Salamanders. And due to them not being available. I vote for Emperor's Children, or perhaps the most loyal of them all. the Dark Angels.
