I asked already. Chaos Undivided legions 20 vote(s) God Specific legions 16 vote(s) Dont Care really it is all good to me. 4 vote(s) * Only if the fifth voted legion is undivided of our own choosing. 10 vote(s) http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/undivided-or-god-specific.3975/page-6
Actually, if we're talking about purely lore terms you have things like...despite the Word Bearers Omnibus...Word Bearers Warbands that are led by Chaos Sorcerers and Warlords rather then Dark Apostles, Emperors Children who have mixed in elements of Thousands Sons enuncia into their sorcery and all sorts of other weird shit. In a way, every Chaos army is only as bland as you make it.
My brethren and Primarch are my prime devotion, the gods come right after that. Without our Legions and Warbands we stand alone and even with the Gods at our backs we cannot conquer the galaxy
I see a lot of blasphemy in this thread from you godless heathens, I can only hope you ignorant dogs learn the error in your ways, pay homage and offer up your corrupted souls to one of the dark gods before the denizens of the warp take them first! Off topic: If Nurgle, Plague Marines and or Death Guard aren't the first dark god, unit or legion we get I am going to flip my desk, pout and have a temper tantrum. I had to suffer through Tzeentch in Age of Reckoning, I'll be pissed if I have to do that again!
Through my god I became an instrument of his wraith, hate and spite. I spread his word through feast and famine, his is the will I follow. The Godless curs are put play things of accursed Tzeentch........... Malal shall be avenged!
Jeebus ... I thought Nurglites were meant to be the jolly component of Chaos But yeah, I hope it's rolled out in an interesting, if not all inclusive way. W:AR was painful especially when it was originally underlined that god-dedication choice was going to be a factor. At least it wasn't Khorne like every other damn game in history
Now I for one was happy that Tzeentch was the god in WAR, since he is only rarely represented in crunch. It sucked that there was no choice, yes, but I kind of agree with Laanshor that at least it wasn't Khorne. Don't get me wrong here, I play Blood Angels, how could I dislike Khorne, but he's just kind of... overused, I think. Come to think of it, this is going to be the first game where Slaanesh is properly represented, methinks. Now, to answer the original question: My loyalty lies with my battle brothers first; those men at whose side I have fought are the ones I fight for, right or wrong, in every situation. If they change loyalties, I will. If they change gods, I will. But at the same time, I am Slaaneshi through and through and will go through pain to be able to represent both. Were I forced to choose, however, my brothers, and by extension, my warband comes first. I think this was not the intended question, however! To adress the poll: Let's stick with Undivided. It was adressed before, but to my knowledge, 100% of Thousand Sons is Rubric (or Sorcerer), 100% of Emperor's Children is Noise Marines, 100% of World Eaters is Berserker, 100% of Death Guard is Plague Marines. Allowing Chaos to choose a character based on Undivided warbands allows for a respec without having to change colours. Playing a Slaaneshi Sorcerer but tired of the squishiness? Respec to Nurglite oh wait you're Emperor's Children you can't. Just my two cents.
