    With a cash shop.

You pay once and get the game itself. They can still sell cosmetic items or boosts/perks in the in game cash shop for $$. Basically they can sell anything that isn't game required in it.
  2. No, got any source?

Edit: Actually that's a post game launch add on with expansions and its still being thought of.
  3. What business model will the game use?

Although it’s still under consideration, the current plan is that Eternal Crusade will be “premium with a free-to-play option.” By purchasing a copy of the game, you will have access to it forever with no need for a subscription. There will be post-launch expansions, as well as a cash shop for customization & convenience items.
If you don’t want to buy the box, you can still try the game as a free-to-play version of an Ork character. In contrast to the premium Orks, your progression will be slower and some options will be locked off, but you’ll be able to go anywhere and fight for the Waaagh! If you like it but still don’t want to pay the full price, you can unlock some of the missing options with microtransactions.

*Edit* Vaevictus got it before me. Also there have been many other allusions to it from developers as things have been discussed over time. Sooooo....yeah.

Yea they did but they also said there will be microtrans for aesthetics and weapons/mods that are a step down from what you can get in-game.

Sounds like a game that is both B2P and F2P that has a cash shop to allow people to buy cosmetics and the like. We know they're planning ammo types you can buy with in game resources but can also buy with real cash as well if you want. That's not p2w.

It also allows the free 2 play orks the ability to buy parts of the game they want without going all in on the main game (which would seem silly, but people will do it.)

  10. I dunno, sounds awful lot like it might go p2w, definitely not as much as planetside, but it will get there.
It seems very much like you guys want micro-transaction.
