I would love to get a chance to be on the war council, but I'd be WAY too nervous about mucking it up lol
What's the worst that could happen? We lose the campaign, not really a big deal since there'll be another one and we can't win them all lol
I read someones idea that the Dec's would be the first War Council, for all the races. Didnt think they would be 10 members each though? Thats a lot of heads all telling the body where to go at once. I was personally thinking more along the lines of 5, one for each Sub-Faction and one noiminated to be the overall leader. Figured Dev's would be in this role first, prob though the Beta's and the like, then they would pick (maybe with the community) the first War Councils for full release and it would be player driven from there. Every three months for a potential new leadership? I dont mind this idea as it should be new Campaigns in the new areas, but whats to stop the same group of players from being the leaders over and over. Going to need at least a Faction vote, and likely somthing along the lines of "you can't be in the War Council two/three times in a row"
Just assume you'll lose, your all just Chaos filth anyways But on topic, its much too early to be putting in your Resume for the post of Warmaster. We dont even know how the War Council will be structured yet, let alone who to put in the position.
Making in game organisation for a game that isn't even in beta for a long time is.... interesting. Well after all this is chaos so I guess your lust for power and attention is kinda justified : )
Lol yeah, it's more I really want to win that first campaign and Iron Warriors are really well suited to the task.
in the last AMA they said: and yes the war council will be voted by the community i think somewhere were mentioned that the voteable guys would be all strikeforceleaders
There are 3 levels in the hierarchy in the game. Squads consist of ten people and will have a squad leader. All the squad leaders can apply to become a strike force leader. Strike forces consist of 100 players. All of the strike force leaders can apply to be on the war council (consists of 10 players), which oversees the whole faction and will control the war effort for a campaign on the continent (Source 1, Source 2) ^^ relevelent info i found about this. It makes sense for the first War Council to consist of the Dev's though, or to be voted and decided during the Beta, though that becomes a bit unfair for those who wait for the full release.
