Well, according to Lexicanum, the standard (Phobos) pattern has a transport capacity of 10 marines in power armour or 5 in TDA. It would be cool if they could make TDAs take up two spaces so that the vehicle could transport a mixed squad.
I woulf like to see both Imperial fists and Land Raider Crusaider because look at the anti infantry advantages against the stupid front defence of the aquillies that it has low defences on the rear and the Salamander's LR to be in close range. Brotherhood Legio VII, Legio XIII
What? If I remember right, the Monolith is a skimmer that has four twin-linked heavy weapons at its corners and the giant crystal weapon on top. Plus the ability to teleport in entire squads. The basic Land Raider has two twin-linked Lascannons and a twin-linked Heavy Bolter plus a transport capacity of just 10 power-armoured troops or 5 bulky-armoured troops like Terminators. So unless I've got my information wrong, the Monolith sounds like it's in a different league to the Land Raider.
Not that much the monolith has 12 gauss weapons that are anti-infantry and the gem that is anti-vehicle, the land raider as it's original patern has a twin linked anti-infantri heavy bolter and the lascannons which are antitank. And they both have 14 full armour points so with the strongest weapons that are strength 9 you need a 5+ to make them damage. The monolith is from where all Necrons come from, while the Land raider can transport superheavy infantry.
Unless the weapon you're using has the Lance special rule, which reduces all armour over 12 to 12. And opponents wondered why I liked Dark Lances on my DE vehicles!
