Hi guys and girl! I just want to know are you thinking to reduce lag thats caused by ping, latencity (or how its spelled)??????Mmine is ower 200 so its basically unplayable!
i wonder how you expect to balance out factions if ping is so high! waste of time so far until it goes down!

games been unplayable for me for the past two or three days. never had an issue with it prior.
  3. The servers are quite bad, it also depends where you live and how many luck you have. I have around 150 from south germany and others near me got a worse one (and my internet speed is horrible)

I get pings ranging from 120 to 160 in Finland. Not really enjoyable, but I would like to like the game, so I've been trying to make myself useful with tactical CSM player. It sort of works, as long as I avoid close combat. However, after couple of evenings, I find myself fed up and writing on the forums in my disappointment. :p

Oh and that one Fortress Map is totally unplayable, as the ping goes over 200 once the action inside the fortress starts.

Ping isnt speed dependent ... I played EC on 1 Mbps net and 128 kbps net with the same ping soo yeah ... It's just the servers

  7. The devs got eu servers but the problem is if most play on the us server, you will be connected to them. Thats also the reason why almost every online game got seperated servers for eu and us and you wont play with anyone from the other region.
  8. Right now it's set to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland and US-East.

I think they did some work on it at some point. My lag dropped to about 80-90ms from 150-190 in the past few weeks. Kinda nice actually now that my delay is only in fractions of a second instead of actual seconds.
  10. (1 second = 1,000 milliseconds just in case you weren't joking.)

A few weeks ago they changed the UI from showing an end-to-end service check to a normal network-only ping like most games. However, they also did some performances fixes that patch, so it also seemed better anecdotally.
