To my defense: I was talking about Necron Pariahs, the super duper bodyguards, not Pariahs as in 'The Blanks' http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Blank#.UxJmp_RDs1I Lexicanum link for everyone who was to lazy to look. For those too lazy too look, my summary: Aura is created by a blank dude and no psychic activity has really any effect in that area. Psykers find themselves then as good as powerless. Eldar btw call those 'Solitaires'
Was reading some tyranid forums, and somewhere my eye catched that ! Pariah's gene can be used from tyranids to create the Pariah-Nid ! Do not know for sure if it is able to become something like that ! Need check the Tyranid new Codex.... Thank you Urian for your response, and i liked that you saw a "mistake"
I stealed-copy-paste the next long post from Tyranid Codex Fluff... The question here is if the Tyranids utilize the Pariah gene. Well, what exactly does the Pariah Gene do? It creates a psychic null field in a small radius around the carrier. This would definately protect Tyranids from Chaos and provide the "chaos shield" you speak of. What would the Pariah Gene do to Tyranids? Unfortunately for the Nids, Hive Mind control is psychic, as stated in the codex. Theory holds from the 2nd edition Nid dex that the Warp Shadow is actually the Hive Mind, the gestalt psychic presence of the Tyranid race, and in the 3rd edition Dex it states that hive nodes pick up the psychic signal of the Hive Mind. So, when a tyranid gets close enough to devour a Pariah, which would be inside of their psychic-null field, all transmissions from the Hive Mind are blocked. They cease to be a member of the Hive Fleet and instead fall back on instinctual behavior. This makes the Pariah Gene impossible to use as those who carry it are not only personally immune to all psychic influence (such as the Hive Mind), but block it for all those around themselves as well. The result of Tyranid utilization of the Pariah gene would be a creature that is immune to psychic attacks and chaos, but also completley beyond the control of the Hive Mind and a creature that severs the link between the Hive Mind and any other Tyranid in the vicinity, as far as their power extends. So its conceivable that the Tyranids could create a Pariah Tyranid, but what would be the use? The Tyranids do have species that can operate independently from the Hive Mind's control. Thats not the issue. The issue is that any Tyranid in this "anti-chaos field" would be completely cut off from the Hive Mind and would follow its instincts. Instincts that would tell it not to go into the warp storm or to eat its fellow tyranids or run away like crazy from anything in particular. It would be not only a failure for the Tyranids, but a total disaster, resulting in the scattering and destruction of the Tyranid forces.
Well since i dont know mutch about the Ultramarines since they are not that Interesting for me have nothing against me but anyways there was a big batle In Maccrage that is the Homeworld of the Ultramarines and the Tyranids Invaded it there is Even a DLC in dawn of war for the Ultramarines comorating the victory against the Tyranids the Ultramarines won But they suffered heave losses and if im not wrong captain Sicarius played a role in that story aswell.
The mentioned wars/battles with the Tyrranids, are recorded as.. -Fallen of Tyran ! -Battle For Macragge ! -Battle of Ichar IV ! -Battle of Tarsis Ultra ! Chaplain Ortan Cassius, was the Creator of the Tyrannic Wars Veterans ! P.S. Give a try to WIKI or Lexicanum, for an almost detailed view for what the Tyrranic wars mean !! You will get surprised...

The Black Templars have much to do with Necrons. Especially the chapter master, Helbrecht who was defeated by a notorious Necron Lord know as Imotekh who spared him and stole his hand to forever live in humiliation.
