I guess that's your canon... Canonical ending announced by Relic and if you played DOW 2 stated that IG actually won Kaurava. Lots of other theories revolving around it but thats that. Now considering you read the book Path of the Archon. That book has some nice info on how Vect operates. One of major importance is his Geldling or better term know as "doppelgänger". This Geldling is Vect's copy. Everything about this person is Vect. The way he walks, holds himself, way he talks. The only difference is that the induvidual know who he really is and that he is Vect. Confusing but read the books and you'll see. The book only introduces one of these doppelgängers but it would be safe to say and assume that any kind of operation Vect was involved with ESPECIALLY when it came to realspace raiding, Vect would have been using his Geldling. *Puts on story mode / speculation top hat Now considering all that I have mentioned. Tahril fate would be very bad ( and I'm not talking about the user on this forum ). After witnessing the death of the copy Vect, Tahril escapes through the webway and probably makes his way back to Corespur as the whole of Commorragh waits for a moment to hear of the news that happened on Kaurava. Tahril as cunning he is, comes up with some scheme making him look like a war hero. Killing Vect with his own hands or something along those lines. Filled with pride, he announces that he is the new Supreme Overlord of Commorragh. But picture this. Tahril standing that, arms up all proud yet no one cheering. Then you hear this clap. lazy and the pauses between the claps are long. "Almost made me smile with that announcement". Tahril knew who that voice is and just like that, that proud feeling instantly turned to dread. Fear riddled across his face and that made the real Vect smile. Tahril wishing he had died back on Kaurava.
(THAT actually makes a lot of sense except that Vect personally powers the Dark Lance on his Dalis. Unless the doppelgänger also had the powers of Vect. And where exactly is it stated IG won? All Cyrus says is that the Blood Ravens where almost wiped out, the victorious faction is never explicitly stated anywhere, and trust me I've looked. I hold sway that this is what most likey what the Dark Eldar would have done on Kaurava: hovering above the battlefield, raiding, not calming territory and simply leaving once resistance became too great.)
