I just got kicked after using the plasma cannon and accidentally hitting teammates (with enemies in the mix). So, should I just not use the plasma cannon in this patch since I won't get experience for a match because I was kicked?
If you get kicked out of the match you won't lose any XP. You just won't gain any more than you already accumulated before you were kicked. It'll show up after the battle ends. And if you don't want to get kicked I recommend stop shooting your own teammates with the plasma cannon
You should not if you can't hold yourself at firing shots which endanger allies. Autokick does not work from 1 or even 2 teamkills, so it is a thing to consider.
Experience doesnt really do anything at the moment so theres no need to worry about it. And getting team killed with a plasma is super annoying should probably watch where you should use it
Sounds like you've been kicked for firing into a big group of people to get the kills without caring for anyone on your team. If that's the case then you should get kicked really!
This is gonna be an issue. You're not intentionally trying to TK, but help that person...sure the weapon is less than desirable for the situation, but this will be a thing, and it will not be fun. So you don't fire, and your teammate dies anyway...I guess that's what you need to do, wait for that outcome then fire or don't depending on who wins...or just leave that alone completely and do something else. This system is less than desirable.
More efficient to blast radius. It's not that I don't understand what you're saying...I saw the same vote to kick system in Battlefield 2, sometimes it was less than pleasant. If this game revolved around clans, i mean pure clans where no team ever had randoms...then this wouldn't be a problem, however teams comprised of mostly 100% random players will have these issue. To expect randoms to play 'correctly' is ignorant.
