How much time we are willing to wait, but waiting for which feature? So, that's depends more on what are your expectations.

-Just to play the game, if you doesn't care to play with just SM and CSM? Founders will be able to do this at what, first semester of 2015insh... give or take?!

    - Play with Orks or Eldar? Well, apparently just early 2016, and at some sort of early build. That s*** for a lot of people here.

    - Having the final product, the final version of the game? But you can say that the finish game is what they promise in the first place, or that's a playable version of the game. The probleme is that, the first have been altered a few times and the second its subjective... a exemple:

I vote for six months top on the pool. But I just need to play Traitors vs Loyalists in large battles, regardless it being in multiple or one big server (still waiting on that Pikko Server Tec.). I will be happy being just able to play a large scale version of 40k: Space Marine.

I feel that this delay will hurt the crusader depending on his desires about the game, more than enything.
    IMHO... of curse:)

Yeah I'm really starting to get sick of unfinished games, clearly rushed to meet a deadline. I'd rather not play anything at all rather than a broken game, the latter is less fun than playing something else.

i have no problem for a simple reason: i never belived that the release at the end of 2015 was true (but i hoped for an alpha/small test before end of 2014), because i have followed a lot of game in my life and delay happen basically in the 90% of the cases.
and when i followed a MMO delay was in the 100% of cases: MMO always delay, but not only MMO take for example the witcher 3.

I'd be fine with a delay of a year to two but more would have me worried since the game is supposed to be already fully funded for the projected release date. I'm honestly glad there's already a delay. I want them to take their time with this game and not release it until it is fully ready. I want this game to introduce tons of new players to the 40k universe but a broken/rushed game would bring not only bring less people, but make them end up regretting it.

Yes Grig, this isnt the first game ive followed, im sure most arent popping their "delay" cherry on this game either.

However my memory is sound and dates back to the start of this project and its announcements.
I followed closely, on many forums and imageboards alike, seeing you lurk left and right im probably not off with saying you lurked as much as i did or more.
And what came at the start of the project? Doubt. Doubt in bE and its history of debatable games (using mild descriptions compared to what people round the net would dub them as). They thought the history of the company was in no way worthy of bearing the mantle of making this project. Many of us took the leap of faith and joined the fray regardless.

Yet one must have a good memory to recall what one of the baits and justifications was thrown in favor of bE and why they can make this project a reality. Back in those interviews talking about bE itself they described themselves as a company which works with dates well. A company that manages budgets good and makes things on time, thus the reason so many other companies take them on to make their games.

This is what brought me in amongst other things, one of the main reasons though. And now my faith in the project is honestly being shaken. As i said i wasnt deluding myself with no delays being a thing, even if they flaunted their "make things on time" nature one had to always take it as a possibility.
Two damn years, thats something i didnt expect nor will i ever honestly accept. Not that a few vocal people have a say in it to the point that it can change something (or more, depending on what happens when word actually gets out, im positive the majority is oblivious to this new delay), but ill never personally be content with two bloody years more.
Its everyones right to be lenient or not, i feel giving half a year time is more then lenient enough. Looking at the last project ive participated in behind the curtains (End of Nations) i know how delays can turn into more delays and then an outright cancelation of the project. That project looked good as well, we had fun playing and all, till it went poof.

And now this, expecting people to sit here being all "ah well, okay then, carry on" when bE jumped out of the blue with this, never really going about it formally in a newsletter and only having mentions here and there about it (an Italian article...ffs if that has priority over updating the official FAQ).....
Im having a bad case of deja vu, and seeing people being so easy going with 2 whole years of delaying the project isnt making be feel any better tbh.

I will hold this opinion always, till the release of the game, and honestly nothing will sway this worry of mine.
We will see if the worry grows stronger or if i will be more at ease when Miguel actually publically addresses this giant delay.

I agree with all, expect the lack of love for exclusive Italian interviews.

Well I'll admit, probably the main reason I'm being easygoing about it is because I don't have anything invested. If the game blows up on the launchpad or drags out like Duke Nukem Forever, I would be disappointed at losing the game that could have been but I wouldn't be out any money for it.

I can understand how someone who has already thrown money at the project would be significantly more worried.

oh yes i remember all the: "we have people that have planned everithing and calculated all on the roadmap we don't lose a single day on development"

it's like they have half the number of people they need for the game. (all the stuff about only 2 people that don't work directly on the game.)
  10. Well firstly

    Called it

Secondly, I don't mind that much. We all knew this was gonna happen eventually, and I haven't spent a single penny on EC yet, but I still plan to watch the development and play the game.
