"Raider Mechs are hostile, as expected and one of our allies is delayed according to their chatter." Gideon said, to which Kaeleen replied "Thank you for that." Still, the Starlex woman and by extension, Apollyon fired the laser rifle at the Mech that was not being targeted by the tank. The laser rifle's configuration resulted in the laser beams being green in colour, indicative of a balanced Starlex laser set-up. Meanwhile, Gideon went about analyzing the construction of the Raider's Mechs, looking to see if the ramshackle construction provided something for Kaeleen to exploit.

Two of the interceptors broke off and began flying directly towards the Starseeker, while the third continued on its previous course towards the battle on the ground. "You came at a bad time." came a rather gruff tone over the radio. "And those 'hostages' you want aren't quite ready to be picked up. If you insist on coming in, we will escort you. But don't expect to be seen right away." Kira was silent for a moment before speaking to Vern. "Are you sure you want to go through with this? This in itself may even be a trap." she said, her background processes running on various probability scenarios. It would stay quiet for a moment until a second until a second missile streaked out of the area, missing Kingslayer by that point and flying into the forest, hitting a tree somewhere in the distance. Assuming that Yumi stayed long enough for the dust to dissipate, she would see that who was there seemed either dead or having retreated, including the streak launcher holder. The launcher itself wouldn't be found in a scan. [Kingslayer: 93 HP] < @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Maleth > Snapping Turtle's main gun shuddered as it blasted a single shell towards the raider on it's right, the high-velocity shell blasting into one of the machine's shoulders and causing it to recoil a little. It seemed to perhaps be a bit better put-together than it looked to be, as the arm was not shorn off. Quickly the two of them sighted in again, and began blasting their shells, three of which were deflected by Snapping Turtle's armor. Five more flew towards Apollyon, and slammed into it's chest and shoulders, causing the legs below Kaeleen to stagger. Gideon would find that there didn't seem to be any specific weakpoints beyond what most would have. Joints and external points that Pilots would often use when on foot. Either the scan was unable to get deep enough, or the ramshackle design was done to bring opponents to a false sense of security. Nevertheless, her lasers blasted forwards, a trio of them hammering into the left mech's chestplate, knocking it back a little. "It seems your calculations were off master." Nyx said responding to Crow as more hull damage was registered. "Affirmative adjusting plans, We are going to change the plans this things much faster then expected we going to free ourselves so we can begin moving we need to be able to dodge and fight this raptor." Crow said attempting to move the drill and activating it once more he would use one of his mechs fists in attempt to break the vines and the other to throw off the raptor.
@BadDo9 "If I was half my age I might go through with this." Vern sighed, due to anticipation of combat, and gripped the controls tightly. "After all, as the oldest I can't just abandon my new earned friends, right?" He smiled to himself and put the engines on full power, cutting communication with the enemy. "Transfer shields from front to rear. They are just pirates, so they are going to fight like cowards." He instructed to the AI with a lesson learned, wondering if statements such as these would affect the machine learning AI. @Vulpas | @Maleth | @TuskatheDaemonKilla | @Wata "We got three interceptors. Two are chasing me, one is heading for you. I'm doing what I can to take them down, so just try to stay in cover and keep your focus on the ground battle." The Starseeker pilot decided to inform his comrades, more to not let them get taken by surprise than anything. He put the tip of his tongue against his upper lip as he flew mostly straight but with slight left and right strafes in order to make those that followed him hopefully miss. Vern would take aim on the one heading for the ground battle and fire the railguns even beyond maximum range, if anything to scare the pilot off of his current course.
Paul exhaled with his throat constricting a bit making a simple "Hmmm" sound as he saw his round not simply tear off the raider's arm. So the raiders were better craftsmen than he originally thought, maybe he could take a look at what they've made after the battle provided they aren't destroyed too badly. He grimaced though as he realized they would probably be covered in gore after the battle though as he would have to kill the pilots straight away to avoid damaging the mech too much. Or at least try to, he was a realist and understood such a shot would be very difficult but that wouldn't stop him from trying. He heard the pilot explain his own situation and found the information somewhat interesting but he did indeed wish to focus on the ground battle. He fired another round at the same mech, trying to make a quick kill.
Kingslayer showed a middle a finger into the debris from where the missile had come. Without further delay Yumi rushed to aid his team on the middle road. While she made her way, Raiken was returned to its sheath and the charging began, ratchety sounds and the increasing hum of generators could have been heard if it were quiet enough. The flanking maneuver would be utilized to its full effect. "I'm approaching from the flank! Hold your fire on friendlies and get ready for a show!" She transmitted before charging to attack one of the raider mechas. @Maleth @TuskatheDaemonKilla
"Weak points seem to be as typical, otherwise analysis was inconclusive. Also, the shield generator would help." Gideon said, meriting an irritated reply from Kaeleen:"Just because the Mech's power efficient doesn't mean it's an excuse to use everything." Bickering of occupants aside even in the light of being made aware of a flanking maneuver, Apollyon's targeting refocused on the arm joints of the left-hand Mech, switching from a balanced laser configuration to a more powerful blue-beam version.
< @Vulpas > Raptor was able to unentagle itself from the vines, but it was a more difficult presence than one might have assumed it to be. Yet, during this time the beast didn't slow it's assault at all, tearing through metal with startling efficiency. Warnings would come to Nyx's screen as the SSP pilot would begin to feel a pounding headache coming from the Beast's claws and jaws tearing at Raptor's head. [Raptor: 85HP] [Beast - 20HP] < @Uriel1339 > Kira may have given a sigh of relief when the pilot decided not to go through with that - it seemed a little too Risky. That's not to say that the shot he was lining up wasn't a risk either - it had a very high chance to miss given the extreme range and the speed that the ship had. However, her predictive algorithms seemed to come into play very well, and the railgun shot streaked forwards, piercing the ship and causing it to be destroyed in mid-air, pieces falling down and raining on the battle near his allies due to the speed. At the same time, the two interceptors that had been coming towards him cursed over the radio before cutting off. One dove and one went high in order to attempt a vertical pincer, firing their repeating cannons at the Starseeker. It though seemed that, for the moment, Varn's evasive maneuvers were keeping him from being hit. Yumi charged forwards and readied an attack, however before they could get close enough to actually strike anyone, there came a report of a heavy mech rifle. It slammed into Yumi's back, sending pain through her spine for a moment. If anyone looked, they would be able to see the trail of the bullet, though the shooter would be hard to see without magnification. it seemed to be lining up for another shot. If anyone did look close enough, it seemed to be built similar to DHC, with a single heavy sniper on one shoulder, with other weaponry for the arms. Apollyon prepared her weapon to fire at her target once more, and even as a single shell hit the side of it's head, Kaeleen was able to stay on target. The weapon was charged and the beam slammed forwards into the left mech's right arm, not only disabling the joints but severing the entire arm. This made it drop it's rifle, but it would then begin to charge forwards, left fist raised. Snapping Turtle, on the other hand, had some shells dent the armor in front, which was of course the heaviest armor of all the heavy armor on the tank. Unfazed, Paul would line up another shot and fire, the blast cracking the pilot's chamber, and causing quite a few issues, probably. However, the mech then stood still and aimed it's weapon at Snapping Turtle, quite the probable tactical folly. Crow would fine a slow mounting headaching coming upon him an wiht it annoyance came, Moving now with his mech fully able to move he would go on the attack to meet the raptor claw to fist, and hull to face, attempting to body check the raptor then strike him with his drill Crow would attempt to destroy the raptor before it would cause any more annyoance to him and the mission.
"Asshole!" Yumi shouted after a gasp of pain. Alspaer stirred as the pain and injury report of its pilot came in, Yumi sensed a sort of anger rumbling in the back of her head and it wasn't just hers. The AI highlighted vulnerable spots on the enemy mecha. "Ignore the sniper, cover yourself with the enemy and engage the closest target." Alspaer's lines always started with slight static, the heavy voice had its pilot's health first in mind. "Goddamn right I will." She growled and maneuvered quickly so the sniper had to shoot its own allies if Kingslayer was the target. "Raiken overcharge complete." Alspaer showed the energy levels on the HUD. Yumi smiled and unleashed the sword. A loud thunderclap rumbled out as the sword tore out of its sheath with arcs of electricity following it.
