Not gonna touch on this. But from my impressions Eldar vets are the worst vets right now. I can reliably 1v1 a veteran Dire Avenger with a regular MoN Combibolter Traitor. Their veterans don't evoke any fear in me unlike other faction veterans.
Yes! Thank you. I know I wasn't the only one. I regularly kill Eldar vets as easy as a regular Eldar and I had the same feeling when I was on my vet: That I wasn't as strong as my SM's/Ork Vets. Also, in case my comparison isn't clear, I'll compare a GA with a Banshee When a Ground Assault Upgrades to a Veteran Ground Assault he gets: +400 LP to spend and +1050 LP in armor. All other things remain equal. When a Banshee upgrades to a Veteran Banshee she gets: +400 LP to spend and +840 LP in armor. All other things remain equal.
I disagree as LSM. When I spawn my vet, I don't generally die unless I'm swarmed and alone as a Dev and Tac. I usually go the rest of the game without dying.
Same. But which cost? I slide from wall to wall with only one thought "Pls, not OHK, dear God, please". I don't rush under bullets for objectives, don't vehicle hunting. Even don't try to kill camper. When i can take basic and do ALL objectives without fear.
Funny, last game, I mowed down a veteran tact by myself with a MC SC while he was a few feet from me..... While he had a 2 or 4 allies behind him.
