It is. Power attacks are best in situations where you're flanking and assassinating unwary ranged lemmings. I can do that with a Choppa with much the same technique (although more difficult to position since not as agile). Against most melee plebs who are facing you, you can barely get strong attacks off because they just mash RMB lol.
From playing against both: Eldar can transition into a heavy attack before I can launch a countering light attack. Marines cannot. 0.3 seconds is longer than you think when it comes to human twitch responses. The average human reaction time to visual stimulus is actually 0.25 seconds, so that's a DAMN big difference for the two heavy attacks. When a core game mechanic is rock, paper, scissors one faction must not be allowed to change their choice faster than human reflexes can detect. That's game breaking.
Scorpions feel faster in my opinion. I wish someone would make an ork video as well. Their atttacks seem the slowest in the game. Fighting an Eldar in melee is nigh impossible against someone who knows what they are doing. They can power attack and dodge backwards much farther than an Orkz power attack. Huge muscles tiny knife and yet I swing it like its a 100lbs. I thought the orkz were the suppose to be the melee specialist, not the weakest.
This video is not so hard proof. The banshee is literally quenching every little drop of advantage possible out of the given situation and it works out. It is a combination of "player who knows what to do" + "easily exploitable situation" (exploit in a positive way) + "right class for the job".
You've already posted MULTIPLE videos of what you're doing wrong. @Aringhe pointed it out last time and disected an entire video for you. You hit walls, thin air, your timing is off, you make poor tactical and positional decisions, you use the wrong attack against the defense, and mash RMB after a fleeing foe when you should either consolidate your position or lunge - once, maybe twice, after a foe and if you didn't get them, let it go. You have entire video of you running after a tactical across the entire map of Pegasus wildly swinging like a frothing rabid dog and you complian that the GA isn't fast enough to catch him. What you don't realise is that you already beat him when he ran away. He's no longer a threat to the point you were interested in, but you allow yourself to get kited across the map and then whine about it when he does the smart thing and leads you straight into his waiting friends.
Right, I know I suck so that's why I'm asking for a tutorial video. Please show us all how its done with the current build with a Power Axe and an Astartes Ground Assault VERSUS ELDAR pulling off the same things we see in the Banshee video. You did say anyone with a Power Axe can do the same things we see in the video, did you not? Put your money where your mouth is and make us a video.
I call that impossible. You can try it, but you will never be nearly as good. Simple reason: axes are not meant for this kind of fast combat.
All combat in EC is fast, so what role do axes in maces play in EC? If Axes and Maces are supposed to give players an advantage, in what situation might the Axe or Mace be preferable? Beating on an enemy vehicle in an empty sever with no threat of melee foes?
Enjoy this pleminary video made back in the day when everyone was sad at how UP the Eldar were. Axes and Maces have much stronger durability than other weapons. They're nearly durability 3.5
