I see Warlocks all the time. In fact, I almost never seen ranged eldar classes, it's all Warlock/Banshee/Scorpion spam with a few hovering Hawks pew pewing.
Which doesn't give you any advantage, unless you're fighting the slowest of melee weapons or people who for whatever reason don't use fast attack. Warlock was always most viable melee option for Eldar due to how poor scorpion was and melee is the only option it can reliably do any kind of damage as it doesn't have multiple awesome highly effective damage spells as sorc does, now banshee will take that spot rightfully.
I'm not saying Apo can't fight but he's limited to the weakest weapons in game. The vials are tricky to apply in the middle of combat though. I guess we've seen different games because I seem to see lots of them in the ones I've played and no I didn't confuse them for Orks, CSM, my own battle brothers, another type of Eldar or Nathan with his own in-game avatar.
Something I noticed here is how much easier the Eldar have of reaching their target because of their small frame. When you get the melee cluster fighting against Eldar as a LSM/CSM, there is generally very little room available to reach the enemy Eldar since they are so small. Always someone in the way. As Eldar it's much easier to see where everyone is and not having friendlies in the way.
And your point is? Should I repost the vid of dude owning everything with a knife(because the vid was mixed showing only situations he was on top) as a definite proof that SM knife needs a nerf? With that aim, you'd do similar/better with plasmagun easily.
My only gripe about playing against eldar is that they almost never get stunned when hit with melee weapons, which I've noticed happens sometimes with other factions but it almost always happens with eldar (I'm guessing due to speed). You swipe at one, get a hit regestration and they keep on running like all you die was smack their @ss and call them a bad name. Heavy attacks respond the same way, they just keep on running. Also, I've noticed that eldar weapons go through the storm/Riot shield if you don't have it locked onto an eldar player. I haven't noticed it happening against any other faction but eldar, it's like the shield doesn't register that you are even holding it up unless you are locked on to them. Now I know this is just my observations but I figured I'd report them here anyway, because Eldar are Pansies and they know it! ( As an Ork, by and Ork, for an ork!)
Yeah storm shield lasts all of a second don't even have time to get to cover. Also have had issues of being shot through walls but that wasn't solely eldar on that part just happens more frequent.
