Yeah, after I tested Banshees myself. Their animations are the same speed as other factions. As for the distance, I'm fine with that, they are "lighter more agile" so it makes sense if that's true. I do have a problem with some animations in the game though. Like Ork Dbashes are impossible to discern, and some of the Eldar ones too, the animation is so slight, or "hides" the visual cue with their body that it kind of makes it impossible to see in combat. But that's a minor thing.
I think that ends up getting a bit mixed with asymmetrical balance. A charge distance advantage is not necessarily good. You have to keep in mind travel speed and the drawback from missing creating even more distance with the target. I think that falls comfortable into the "different, not better" category.
Looks like the major difference is that the Eldar has a faster recovery between swings. Its probably tied down to the animation. Tbh, thats to be expected.
Yeah, but I'm having it happen against all factions, not just Eldar. But holy shit I didn't know it did that, that's awesome. Wait...so what does a Combat Knife get reduced to?
