I watched The Last Leg on Friday night, and they had a Tweet that summed it up perfectly. I'm probably paraphrasing this: Rest In Peace the innocents who have and will lose their lives in this conflict.
I'm sorry to be be the one to inform you, but killing is part of humanity. Has been from day one. That isn't to say that there aren't clearly injustices being committed, ones that can be worked on, but there can be no perfect world.
What's special about the 4th of November? Besides the fact it's the eve of Bonfire Night. Actually killing amongst ancient humanity was very rare. We built the first cities for trade, not defence. But..... We're on a website that deals with the 40K Universe. A universe that isn't Black & White, but nor is it Grey. It is shades of red, Blood-Red!
But we were also still being eaten by wolves and stuff, and the tribes were spread out and few in number.
Human nature is self destructive there is no way to get around it. The reason of this self destructiveness stems from primal urges to be the best and most powerful and it has grown and twisted from natural instinct to horrible mind set. I mourn for the losses of innocent life and I sadly know as do we all this innocent people won't be the last sadly the israli-palistine war has gone on for hundreds of years. I hate having to discuss politics on this forum but it some cases it's neccasary.
Sometimes it's not politics, it's actually History. Take a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sergeants_affair It only describes one historical aspect of the Palestine-Israel situation but the stuff on Lehi linked to it is kind of informative. Just remember it's a Wiki, and act appropriately.
